This lovely home was built in 2003 with 5,000 square feet of living area including a large master bedroom with its own lanai, a walk-in open shower and large tub. The master bedroom also has its own TV and a King size bed. Two other bedrooms, one with king size and one with queen size bed, are located on the third floor as well. There is also an office with a Queen sized futon that can be used as an extra bedroom.
The main floor includes a large modern kitchen with granite counter tops, bar, sitting area near kitchen, dining area on the enclosed lanai, living room, and a second large family room on the back lanai. There is one additional bedroom with a king size bed on the main floor as well. There are a total of 3.5 bathrooms throughout the home.
The lower floor level has an entertainment room with half kitchen with sink/microwave/refrigerator, and large screen TV. There are two sofa futons which can be used for additional sleeping. This room opens to the pool and has a full bath.
This home is in a gated community with security guard. Beach is ideal for safety and protected from surf by reef. Large sandy beach with limited public access. Can sleep up to 14 guests, however additional fees apply. |

We loved the home we stayed in. It was perfect for 9 people. We also liked how accessible everything was from this location, walks on the beach, walks into Kona, shopping and the hwy to leave the city.
The home was clean and well cared for.
My only complaint would have been the construction next door which started at 7 am every day except Sunday. We were in bed early and up early but it would have been nice to have a choice sometimes as it was quite noisy. We realize this is beyond your control. Maybe an 8 am start would have been nice but for workers we realize it is cooler earlier.
We had concerns over the shower floor in the master bedroom as the water never drained properly and sat in the doorway. We mopped the water up as it concerned us.
Otherwise we loved the house, the big island and had a wonderful trip. I would recommend the home and the place to anyone.
