"Kona Beach House"
"Convenient location; best lanai of any house we have ever rented; everything worked; a little warm on the lanai - outside ceiling fans would be helpful if they can stand the weather; we did purchase a couple of small room fans that we used on the lanai and the bedrooms at night - that little bit extra made it perfect (we left the fans at the house for the next group or the cleaners or whomever). We got some great pictures of sunsets from the lanai - perfect location for that. The sound of the surf right outside the door was wonderful. The sprinklers coming on every day made the front walkway a little slick, but everything was nice and green. Well maintained. The beach right around the corner was awesome - we saw the most fish and turtles within walking distance of the house of anywhere on the island. Kona Country Club restaurant was great and affordable. Golf was pretty sweet, too. September is a great time to visit - very small crowds everywhere. We'll remember that for next time."
