Lounging in the warm Geo thermally heated springs is a popular pastime in Kapoho. One of the famous Ponds called Champagne Pond in Kapoho, which can be accessed and enjoyed from our property. You will be able to snorkel and see tropical fish and Sea Turtles. For a day trip, head to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Take a peak at an explosion captured on film in the Kilauea Visitor's Center. Head down the Chain of Craters Road and look for flowing lava. and explore the Thurston Lava Tube, the fern forests, and the other natural phenomena of the area. About One Hour Drive. Lava Tree State Park: Restaurants and Super Market in Pahoa Town 10 min Drive from the Home. Area attractions include, swimming, scuba diving, spelunking, fishing, restaurants, reefs, surfing, snorkeling. National Volcanoes Park is about 1 hour away. Akaka Falls 40 min Drive. In Memory of Arthurena
On March 27, 2008 our beloved sea turtle Arthurena passed away. She will be missed by many people, especially us. She had a long and protected life. Her friendliness and beautiful grace of movement will forever remain vivid in our minds. The joy and love she brought to our hearts with her visits to us humans continues to beat strong and the memory of her shall never fade
