Description
This new 3 bedroom luxury home is located just south of Keauhou in a quiet community in a tropical setting with Monkey pod trees. The owner designed the home with the concept of utilizing the spectacular ocean view to offer 3 private suites with each having their own lanai with an ocean view. Each suite is beautifully decorated with new furniture and large private bathrooms. Two suites have Jetted tubs and the third a large walk in shower. The gourmet kitchen has a subzero freezer, warming drawer, microwave, 8 burner gas Wolfe stove and dishwasher. The countertops are a beautiful blue granite. The home is truly stunning with its exotic wood treatment with rich African mahogany, koa, mango, and bamboo accents for the stairway, doors and window trim. The lower floor has travertine tile with banana leaf mosaic and green marble trim. Many of the window glass is etched with tropical motifs and the sliding doors open the house to outdoor living with the infinity pool. Master Bedroom Suite 1: located on the main floor with king size bed, jetted tub, ocean view shower with side spray option, and huge bathroom. Guest suite 2: located on the second floor with private lanai, King size bed, and jetted tub. Guest suite 3: located on second floor with private lanai and large shower and twin beds. For those who need an additional bed for children, there is a sleeper sofa in the family room. We include a forest of tropical birds for viewing and listening pleasure with either your Kona coffee in the morning or as they come home during your spectacular sunset.

This house was nothing short of spectacular! My wife kept saying, "Can we buy this house and stay here?" The photos don't do it justice. The master bedroom suite was the pinnacle of luxury. The patio was our own private heaven (and I do mean private), so large that the whole family could be sunning and everyone was still "by themselves." Tropical birds would sit on the edge of the infinity pool and splash themselves while we swamand watched spectacular sunsets.

On our first night, we were too tired to cook or eat out, so we picked up take-out from Hawaiian Barbecue in the Keauhou Shopping Center just up the road. That hit the spot perfectly. Another night we hired a private chef (Dan Bobo, great!) to come to the house and cook dinner. He said, "I'm in awe of your kitchen" and then prepared the most amazining meal for our 25th anniversary. Kahalu'u Beach Park was not the greatest beach (we found that elsewhere), but it was ideal for snorkeling, with dozens of different species of fish and turtles.
