Beautiful view.... Very good customer service... Discovering the different beaches...zip lining up north.... We enjoyed Sam Choy's, Merriman's, The Broadway or something in Hilo... Our family in the empty pool behind the house....expected more from that pool.... We were warm in the sunshine and wet in the fabulous beaches.... Request that the unit have a few more cooking utensils, bring WD-40 for all the doors that need derusting.... Do the zip lining at the eco zip line that just started in Sept....very good! Can't think of an insider tip that we received.... Walking down to the bottom of the valley up north....only had time to go down half way.... Was really nice to have the washer and dryer....

Comment by Owner/Manager:
Thank you kindly for your feedback. It is always helpful, and we use it to make improvements and follow suggestions where possible. It would be great to have specific requests for cooking utensils, so we can respond ably. WD-40 will be immediately applied, and thanks for the heads up. Living on the oceanfront has its unique challenges to anything rubber or metal, especially. As for the pool, we do have to apologize that Mother Nature isn't more responsive when we want the pool filled. That pool is filled and emptied by the tides, and we have no control over it. We will update our descriptions to more accurately define the dynamics of the pool. Especially during the winter, when the surf is more aggressive, the pool tends to get emptied more often.
What I liked best about the unit I rented was the view. The customer service I received was excellent. The best part of my trip was hiking the volcano trail. The best restaurant I found was the Big Island Grill which was near the rental. The best picture I took of us was in the volcano trail. I can't wait to tell all my friends about the volcano hike. My advice to someone else staying at this unit would be to make good use of the spa at sunset. The part of my trip I would definitely recommend to others is the rental and the volcano hike. The best insider tip I received on my trip was to be prepared for the long drives and have ample water and food in case of any car mishaps because there's a lot of empty roads. I didn't have time this trip, but the next trip I'm looking forward to visiting a poniolo ranch and the norther part of Hawaii to have steak and burgers.
