We were very pleased with Laurel's service throughout the transaction, and Will, the maintenance guy, was very responsive. The house was very beautiful, but it was clear the owner is being as cheap as possible. The kitchen was poorly supplied with utensils (few plates, cups, junky mismatched silverware, etc:) and the stove was broken when we got there. Speaking of broken, the hot tub was inoperable the entire 10 day stay because the owner would not pay to fix it, the downstairs (ohana) shower was broken and never repaired for the same reason. During our stay the outside shower broke as well. The grill was filthy and we had to buy a wire brush to clean it, there being no utensils. A house of this sort (and price) should have a first-class kitchen for cooking and entertaining. Torn/worn cushions on the couches didn't help our mood either. We will be seeking a partial refund. We would NOT recommend this house until the owner shows commitment to offering a quality rental.
