Description

A darling studio cottage under the branches of Puako's largest banyan tree. It has a bedroom and living room combination that accommodates two persons comfortably. There is a kitchen, bath and balcony with ocean view. Easy to combine with Beach Banyan for extended families. The Treehouse has to use the public shore access adjacent to the property in order to get to the beach. Cannot access through the main property, the Beach Banyan.

Starting from $205.00 per night. 30% down to hold a reservation. Balance due 90 days before check-in $500.00 security deposit. $98.96 cleaning fee. Additional Fees: $75.00 for Reservation fee. 4% processing fee. Holiday and peak season rates and required length of stay may be different than quoted above. Credit cards, cash, checks and wire transfers accepted. Minimum night stay varies amongst the various rental units. Many rentals have 30-night minimums.

We had a wonderful time, as we did in the same place last year. We ran into the owner as we were leaving and told him, but you should also know that neither of the front burners on the stove really get above warm, so they need to be replaced. Also, it would be nice to have an extra blanket in the closet for the occasional windy/chilly evening. There is an extra mattress pad in the closet (?), but no blanket.

In terms of the suggested comments, we've been to the island so many times and find everything wonderful, so there's nothing too specific to pin down (we'd leave too much out). We LOVE staying in Puako for a portion of our trips - it's so relaxing and beautiful. We love the honu and snorkeling right out front of the rental - and for more swimming, 69 and Hapuna are such a short drive away. We ended up never even eating out this trip - we kept meaning to go out to dinner someplace fabulous, but always ended up staying in to enjoy every last color in the sunset, and were so happy cuddling up in the treehouse after dark. As always, our trip to Puako was wonderful. This is the 4th time to Puako for us. And I'm sure it won't be the last. This is the third place we've rented on Puako Beach Drive. All have been great. We were in a studio behind "the big house" and we were lucky enough to be able to use the big house lawn, beachfront as no one checked in while we were there. Luckily my friend's brother lives in Puako and he loaned us his kayak. We kayaked Puako every day for a week. This was also a house hunting trip...found a good one. But a little pricey. I need to win the lottery to own in Puako.

We'll be back.
