What I liked best about the unit I rented was the high standard. Everything was so beautiful, clean and nice. The customer service I received was excellent, the local representative "Bennet" was great and gave us a tip about the restaurant café Pesto which we visited several times. We like the Waikoloa Beach area and will definitely recommend it to other people. We have paid a security deposit and would like to get it back as soon as possible.

Alaua Hale Big Island

The house is very nice, great value. Lovely winds come through in the evening, keeping it cool, though it is hot during the day without AC. We really enjoyed the large living room and nice bedrooms. We ran into problems with a habitually fussy toliet (documented in the house guest book) and had the bad experience of having all 4 smoke alarm batteries die and start beeping continually while we were there. We were able to remove 3 of the, BUT one battery is in a locked studio and it just beeped the entire time and no one could unlock the studio. rnrnBest thing to do: Hawaii Forest & Trail has great trips to see the endemic birds and rainforest--highly recommended. My teens enjoyed the trip, too.

Waikoloa Colony Villas 2003

Location to pool, clean, well furnished, nicely decorated was all great. Loved the Brown's Beach Restaurant at Fairmont Orchid, pricey but sunset was beautiful. Waikoloa Colony Villas are very nice but did miss the "Ocean" experience because of distance to beach. Usually we insist on waterfront when we visit beaches, but were bound to this location because of other family visiting the island and who are owners at the Villas.

What a GREAT place!!!!!! Could not of asked for a better condo. I will certainly recommend to others. We did put down a $500 Security Deposit. Thanks Sally & Tim and Family
