The Piliana Beach House was all and more than we expected. It worked very well for two familes of 4 adults 5 children. We would definitely repeat this vacation. While there we did learn some information about beach safety on Anahola Beach. We were informed by locals of several drownings there over the last several months due to undertow and riptides. We swam at Anahola, but stayed in front of the house where we were told it was safe. Perhaps some more noticeable warnings on this could be posted at the house.

A gorgeous country-style-meets Hawaiian-beach-house with pristine gardens. The kitchen and bathrooms are unbelievable, with attention to every detail. The bedrooms are quaint, if small. The master bathroom is impressive, with a huge jacuzzi/shower. A new outside jacuzzi is a fantastic addition. No AC can mean some pretty warm days and early evenings, but you can get used to it. In front of the house is Anahola Beach Park, a public beach frequented by locals. To the left of the beach (not directly in front of the house), there are locals camping. Nevertheless, we felt very secluded on the property and would come back!

Absolutely wonderful place to spend a peaceful vacation. Only negative was the mosquitos and the roosters which wake you up every morning. Other than that, it was a truly delightful location with snorkeling and a beach a few steps from the front door.
