We would definitely stay at the Anini Kama'aina again. The biggest things going for it for our family were its affordability and its location. The rental unit its self was a little rough around the edges, thence a rating of 3, but our family is used to roughing it, and so, compared to our cabin, it was luxury. :) The beach is very child friendly, so while our 5 year old was at an age appropriate beach, the 11 and 14 year old were anxious to do other things. We never ate out once, except for getting ice cream in Princeville one day. A trip to Costco at the beginning of our trip made eating affordable and we found most of the cooking utensils we needed in the unit. There were vertually no staples in the unit, but there was salt and pepper. I would have expected to have toilet paper and garbage bags on site...we had to provide our own. However, I'll buy my own toilette paper any day if I can afford to enjoy a good book on the water with signifigantly fewer people than Maui.
