This is a beautiful rental property. The house is open, airy and spacious and very well equipped. The customer service was great, I very much appreciated the delivery of a Pack 'n Play for my daughter.
Absolutely beautiful property. Beautiful hardwood floors and kitchen. Beautifully decorated. So well equipped that you really didn't need much. Great location across the street from the beach. Able to walk to Hanalei in about 15 minutes. I am interested to know if you can catch the Kauai bus from the airport or if there is an alternative to renting a car? Only downside was the rental property below us that was occupied. Will definitely stay there again if they will have us.
Our family of 5 stayed @ Polihale in July '06. It is a very comfortable, clean, and pretty home. We grilled out several nights--the kitchen is completely equiped and open to the living area. There is a partial view of the beach, and wonderful views of the mountains out of the back of the house. Beach access is great--a short 1/2 block walk to Hanalei Bay. We all were very sad to leave!
Polihale is a wonderful home in a great location. This home is beautifully decorated, well kept and stocked with everything you could need. We enjoyed the ocean views from the large and open family areas, sitting on the screened lanai, listening to the waves crash at night and waking up to see the mountains from our bedroom window. Our friends rented the two downstairs units and the property was perfect for us. We especially miss the great kitchen and the outdoor shower! We can't wait to return. Thank you for having us as guests.
