the unit had a lot of space...when we needed anything rob was there for us...we enjoyed just walking to the beach and to ching young village...everything was very close...we could have had better weather, more sun but it worked out....we loved just driving all over the island and discovering different things to do...we liked kalypso, bubba burgers, and the small family type restaurants...next time we return will have to come when the weather is warmer...we didn't get to learn how to surf...that will be on our next agenda...what a great trip...
We knew the Ipo Loa was where we wanted to stay when we saw the notation that Ipo Loa means "two lovers". We were enthralled with the location, the accomodations, supplies inside the unit, and the Aloha Spirit that was around the place.
We of course are planning our next trip when we can stay longer.

Very clean, well equipted, close to the beach, quiet...we had wonderful sleeps and enjoyed the many walks around the neighborhood and into town.
excellent location and spacious, clean unit but lots of noise from upstairs and nearby neighbors. great service from laurel
"Verrrrrry clean & neat. All the "little amenities" available :-) Thin walls & ceilings allow for too much noise, at times. Solution? Fill the place with lots of your own friends & relatives.
Ipo Lua of Hanalei Retreat is a great suite for honeymooners or couples looking for some rest and relaxation. It's very convenient to the beach as well as shops and even the post office.
Wonderful location, clean and spacious unit, Sheila was helpful and we happened to meet the owners who were very hospitible. Next time we only hope the unit will come with fewer clouds and rain. Aloha
