This is one of four island style units across the street from beautiful Hanalei Bay beach. These up to date island style units are affordable, spacious and conveniently located on Weke (pronounced "Vekay") Rd. (means fish in Hawaiian). A pleasant short walk to the beach, shops or restaurants make this a convenient location. Hanalei Bay is a world-class two-mile long, clean peaceful beach with striking mountain, waterfall and bay views. Hanalei town has all you need and the old island aloha feel. Hanalei Retreat's Ipo Lua has one large (22ft by 24ft) bedroom/living room studio, full bathroom, and full kitchen. It's perfect for a couple or a single person. It's a first floor vacation rental decorated with a mural of Hanalei Bay facing the king-sized bed. There is a hot tub accessible from the ground floor common area which is shared with all 4 units. There is a BBQ, washer/dryer, and outdoor shower for each building shared with 2 units.

the unit had a lot of space...when we needed anything rob was there for us...we enjoyed just walking to the beach and to ching young village...everything was very close...we could have had better weather, more sun but it worked out....we loved just driving all over the island and discovering different things to do...we liked kalypso, bubba burgers, and the small family type restaurants...next time we return will have to come when the weather is warmer...we didn't get to learn how to surf...that will be on our next agenda...what a great trip... We knew the Ipo Loa was where we wanted to stay when we saw the notation that Ipo Loa means "two lovers". We were enthralled with the location, the accomodations, supplies inside the unit, and the Aloha Spirit that was around the place. We of course are planning our next trip when we can stay longer. Very clean, and met all of our expectations. My family had a great time. The accommodations and location were perfect. Thank you!
