Rating: Review: The Johnson house is a wonderful place to stay. It is only 3 blocks to the beach, and yet on a nice quiet dead-end street. My family loved the spacious rooms, lounging on the deck, and cooking great meals with the BBQ. Great bang for the buck! The only thing I would recommend is adding more utensils, hot pads, and more lighting in the kitchen.Rating: Review: The location is great if you really want to explore the North Shore. It's walking distance to the center of Hanalei. Big, spacious house and comfy beds. I can't wait to come back and have more pizza at the Kilauea Bakery! Our favorite beach was Ke'e - great for adults and kids - like swimming in an aquarium.Rating: Review: What I liked best about this unit was the location on the North Shore, and proximity to Hanalei Bay. Beautiful sunsets from the beach, and a great little town center within walking distance from this home. Also enjoyed the hammock and bbq on the patio. My advice to someone else staying here would be to purchase (or bring) your own pillows, as the ones provided were awfully flat and hurt my neck. Overall, a wonderful vacation and the most beautiful place I have ever been. |
