What was a magical place to stay in a magical place. The secluded, yet convienent location. The views, Hanalei, nuff said. But to have the space for our 7 adults to share and yet have their own space and privacy was everything we could have asked for. I feel guilty that we didn't stimulate the economy much in Hanalei's restaurants, as we just bought our own provisions at Costco and had great meals in house, easily prepared in your spacious kitchen. But we did so enjoy the Luau at the Med. Gourmet. The ohana that performs are so talented, and the food was better than the usual luau fare. Yes I could nitpick the facts that there was no ping pong table as advertised, and the badmitton consisted of 2 worn out rackets. But to be honest, we didn't even use the huge pool. We were usually too exhausted from the days activities that we wound up relaxing together in the comfortable living room, watching "Charlie Chan" movies that I had brought. To my surprise everyone loved them too. To the owners, Mahalo Nui Loa, for sharing such a special property Jay, Mary, and the Rodgers clan ps; maybe update some of the info out there

We are glad to hear the Rodgers enjoyed the Taro Plantation home, we agree, it is a magical place! However, I have checked our websites for this home and did not find that they advertise the ping pong table and badminton Mr. Rodgers references in his review, therefore I apologize and am unable to make any adjustments.
