This was a great vacation. The only problem with the guest cottage was that there was not enough time in the day to thoroughly enjoy every day. It was beautiful and relaxing.

Mia Huna

We come to Kauai every year and Mia Huna is now our favorite place to stay! The house, pool and spa is beautiful and very private. With the spectacular ocean and mountain views, its the perfect setting to enjoy BBQ's and sunsets. The staff is great. The only slight drawback is the internet service needs to be improved upon, we could only get online the last few days, and a few tiki torches around the pool would have been even better. Other than that, its a lovely and serene place to have a vacation. Thanks so much!

The rental contract and the web page need to be updated. The bed was a queen not king. There was no bathtub it only had a shower. There was no high speed internet service nor wireless as Nadine said. There was a ceiling fan in the bedroom and it did have A/C. We appreciated when the property manager showed up that he called first, that was classly. Plastic glasses for the pool and hot tub would be good.(we had a rental place). It would be good to tell people that the unit does not have an oven.

Mia Huna

This was a beautiful and private house for finishing our Kauai honeymoon. The pool and hot tub are the centerpiece but the windows and finishes in the Mia Huna are also a highlight. A lot of workers during the day but that gave us motivation to check out the spectacular nearby beaches and really enjoy late afternoon peace and quiet watching the sunsets by the pool, drinking pina coladas and grilling ahi and ono steaks!

Stunning location for scenery but too far from the beach. Was led to believe it was closer, about a 15 minute walk. Only complaint with cottage itself was only one (1) set of towels per person. Had to wash every day which was outrageous for a rental at this price.

this was our 3rd visit to kauai and mia huna helped make it the best. the location, the pool and spa, and the excellent weather all combined to provide us with a very merry xmas and a happy new year. we spent a day with kauai magic dragon island adventures and were amazed at the hidden kauai that owner/guide bob polli showed us in his hummer. spectacular..we will be back and we hope to stay at mia huna. mahalo

There were some good points, the pool, the jacuzzi, barbeque and privacy but the property requires some work and accordingly the value is not particularly good. The dishwasher leaks water, several of the window shutters are broken, regarding cooking there was no oil, salt or pepper. The place in general is quite dark at night as there are insufficient lights, particularly in the bathroom. There is quite a bit of dust in the premises. Compared to what you can get for this price, the property does not represent much value. I also recommend that for privacy, there should be a gate at the main entrance, as opposed to only having a gate at the entrance for the Mia Huna property. The other place I have stayed at in Kauai is a definite "return" property but this one is not so clear.
