2. Amazing ocean sounds
3. Some beautiful sunsets
4. Snorkeling is good - beautiful fish - on Lawai road (about 1/2 mile off of Poipu Road) on the way to Spouting Horn
5. There are some cool hikes and beautiful waterfalls - We loved the hike at the very North end of the island (end of Hwy 56), on the 4 mile hike to the beach area.
6. Keoki's is a nice little place to eat, and it is very close to the condo, on Poipu Road
7. We really liked the breakfast at "Joe's" (near Keoki's)
8. Some tasty fresh fish is available at "The Fish Market", right across from the Post office in Koloa.
9. Customer service: The only issue we had was that the no one answered the "emergency" numbers" we were given. Our flight in was a bit late, and so we had to call after 11 p.m. because the directions to the condo were in error. Luckily, after midnight, a local resident guided us to Pe'e Road.
Note: After turning left at the Chevron station in Koloa, about 1.5 miles is supposed to be Pe'e Rd. However, at this point you will reach a round-a-bout. You need to continue ANOTHER 1.5 miles and you will come to Pe'e Rd - a (stone structure) marker that reads "Poipu Kai Resort" will be on the corner. Otherwise, the directions are accurate.
