Hi SHEILA
We both enjoyed ALII KAI
again.Last time was pure timeshare. This unit appears to be privately owned and shows it.Its Princeville location is very good .Its condition is very good, considering the pigs that you must get as clients.Speaking of which, our next door neigbours were very noisy but I guess there's nothing that yoy can do about this.
The unit is very well euipped---just like home.
We both juswt love Princeville---we have been coming here since 1987.HEAVEN.( I'm not much of a typistm asyou can see )
Sorry we were delayed getting there. We didn't know that Aloha had folded until we arrived at Honolulu airport. If the owner can help with the night that we missed we would be grateful.
Any way-----Maholo and
ALOHA-----GARY AND JO DAVIES

Our stay in Alii Kai 9F was very good. It was such a pleasant feeling to see just how tastefully the condo was decorated. The kitchen had all of the basic things one would need to do all of the basic cooking. However, one day my daughter said that she would like to have fried chicken. The frying pans were just a little too small for cooking a whole chcken. So.... we were going to Costco that morning to buy some more provisions. We found a 12" saute pan with glass lid that would
do the job. We left the pan there in unit. By the way... it would have been even nicer if it were fried "ROOSTER" that night! It would only be fair to future guests that you provided more updated pictures of the view of the distant mountain
range. It must have been so beautiful before the LARGE CONDO UNITS were built across the street. However, you can still see the tops of the mountain range with the waterfalls after a big rain downfall. The people that managed the units were very helpful and answered all of our questions.

Easy to access. Instructions sent to on how to gain access on the first night were clear and keys were in the room as stated. We arrived very late and it was raining. So, finding the room was a little difficult. It would have been nice to have had a drawing of the buildings in the cul de sac and location of the room but it wouldn't have been an issue in daylight and no rain. I didn't have to go to an alternate site to sign in which was most appreciated. Exit was extremely easy....leave the keys in the room. Couldn't have been easier.
Any questions prior to the trip were promptly answered via e-mail or phone call. The weather was horrible but I can't fault the rental property for that. It was great that someone of the staples used by previous renters were there rather than finding cabinets bare. (salt, vegetable oil, rice and coffee. I added to the stash.) Thanks. :)

The price and location of Alii Kai 9F was very good. The level of construction noise was somewhat down played in the rental agreement. I feel an instruction binder about the condo and community would be helpful. The bathrooms are in need of updating. There are no curtains on the window wall in the living area that overlooked the construction workers on the roof. The beds could use a pillow top/foam top such as sold by Costco since they are very hard. I suggest that anyone staying at this condo to stop at Costco or Wall Mart and get food for breakfast and lunch. The restaurants were so-so and pricey. JoJo's shaved ice on the west side of the island was worth every bit of the 1hr+ drive. Be sure and go to the last overlook at Waimea Canyon. You get a great view of the Napali Coast. We loved kayaking on the Hanalei River. We loved the 'Camelot' rain at night and the beautiful rainbows.

A very nice unit, well equipped, but the construction next door detracted from the otherwise wonderful experience. Some forewarning would have helped.

Beautiful view of the mountain waterfalls from the living room. Very well equipped and comfortable. rnVery easy to drive to and walking distance to the library. More ceiling fans would be a nice addition. Liked the kitchen- living room arrangement.

Very well equipped ,even a flashlight for the night that we lost power! Within walking distance of the Princeville shopping. Loved every minute...even the rain. Wish I could golf...Princeville Golf looked very beautiful, and I understand that non golfers can ride along for a fee. The staff at Alii Kai can make arrangements for various activities..Surfing leesons anyone?

"Taylor House"
"I will recommend to my friends going to Kauai to stay at Taylor House. The offers a very relaxing and close to nature environment. I love watching the birds by the balcony and enjoy the air breeze in the house. The house is also close to a secluded private beach and a park overlooking the ocean, a perfect spot to watch the sunrise. Awesome!!!
