Had a lovely time staying here, very beautiful house and nicely appointed.
Would have liked the pool cleanliness to be addressed, the filter/vacuum didn't seem to work and daily we had to scoop leaves out of the pool.
TV was difficult to work out, and in the end couldn't get everything to work. We were told that having cable come out to look at it would cost us $50 min, don't think we should have to pay this as we followed the instructions.
We weren't told about 10pm noise curfew, can't sit outside after 10 or even have doors/windows open with laughing and TV on inside. Something to consider.
No problems with the house itself though, lots of room and the internet came in handy.

This home was beautifully decorated. It really felt like home! The kitchen was well equiped and afforded a great view of the pool so the kids could swim while we prepared snacks or meals. We were a little disappointed that the bottom of the pool was not very clean when we arrived but it was some what addressed. I love Kauai's natural beauty. The people are a lot more friendlier than on Maui. The food stores were cleaner and had better pricing than Maui. Parking at some of the more popular beaches can be difficult so come early or try some of the less well known beaches. We enjoyed purchasing fresh fish and vegetables and preparing them on the gas grill! If someone told me I would enjoy cooking on vacation I would have said "no WAY!" But, it was fun and saved some money! Air conditioning in the home would have made sleeping more comfortable but I believe many of the the homes do not have it! There are plenty of fans and many doors! I would recommended this home for a family!

Aloha. Hala Kahiki Hale is a beautiful Hawaiian style 2 story home. The grounds are beautiful and the inside is finely decorated. The home has many nice antiques and wood floors throughout. The walls in each room are painted to match. It has a large kitchen with granite countertops. The family room has an oversized T.V. with plenty of room for viewing. All 3 bedrooms were upstairs with only 1 bathroom, which made it friendly!! It is a comfortable home, especially for a couple with a few children. The backyard has a beautiful pool (spa attached) but not working. There is a new large barbeque and boogie boards and kids toys. P.S Good food at Calypso's. Snorkelling was great (large turtles) down steep trail between "the cliffs and Sea Lodge. Also Ke'e beach. Go early for calmest water.
