The location is nice. The house has a musty smell. Very poor on privacy with the bedroom doors being only sliding panels.The kitchen is not very well equiped. no knives for cutting steak,no paring knives, skilet is in poor condition with a doomed bottom, no griddle. Seating in family room is only good for 4 people. T.V. must be at least a 20 inches. perhaps a larger one in the main family would be good. Only 1 chair with the patio table. the trash bin for the recycle was full and running over when we came. Windows were very dirty. Directions to the unit could be better. The condition of the house could be improved. The third bathroom is in the garage with the shower stuffed full of junk.
My family, friends and I stayed at the Hale Kamalani for a week in January 2008 and we enjoyed our stay immensely. We would recomend this rental to any and all who wish to enjoy a very comfortable and relaxing trip. We chose to stay at a house for the kitchen, we knew that traveling with 4 small children ment lot's of food preperation and this house was fully equiped with all one might need for a wonderful vacation. Plenty of space and privacy for a party of 8. Our stay in Kauai was amazing with all the wonderful sights, smells and magic that this beautiful island has to offer, we can't wait to come again and wish all who come a very ALOHA experience!

I enjoyed the unit--it was neat and compact and suited our needs perfectly. Customer service was what made the entire experience special--I was favorably impressed by the efficiency and support of the agency and its personnel.
