Imagine a day in Paradise during your well deserved vacation time. You awake to the pleasant sounds of birds chirping and the smell of plumeria. Step out onto the master bedroom lanai and take in a rainbow or ribbons of water flowing down Mount Hihimanu. Sip Kona coffee on your lanai while listening to the sounds of beautiful Hawaiian music. Then, step out to the lava rock path which leads to your lavish pool, set amongst an abundance of flowers, fruit trees and tropical foliage. Relax in one of several chaise lounges or refresh yourself with a dip in your pool. Afterwards visit one of the majestic North Shore beaches, just minutes away. Finish off a wonderful day with dinner in the chefs kitchen or one of Princeville or Hanalei's many restaurants while recounting the wonderful events of your day. And then do it over and over again. Paradise Retreat is now under new ownership. Many new features are being added to make your experience the ultimate Kauai vacation. We will be adding bicycles, stand up paddle-boards, boogey boards, snorkeling gear and surfboards for every level. We will also be providing a guest Mac computer filled with an extensive iTunes collection of Hawaiian, Island and other genres. There will be other surprises as well. It is our goal to make Paradise Retreat such a lavish vacation rental that guests will have a hard time leaving this resort style property.
Paradise Retreat is an upscale, luxurious 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath estate and has an expansive 7,514 square feet of living space (approximately 4500 sq.ft indoors and 3000 sq.ft covered lanais) on 2 tropical landscaped acres with ocean, sunset, waterfall and mountain views. The 3,000 sq ft of covered and furnished lanais are made of the exotic Epay wood, and boasts several hammocks to relax and contemplate the beauty of Kauai. The lovely home is exquisitely detailed and furnished for your ultimate comfort and spiritual sense of well being. A 6th bedroom will be added very soon.
This estate is perfect for entertaining. The expansive lanai in the back has a barbeque grill and hot tub which seats 6 adults very comfortably. Its vast size is pleasant for outside dining and/or gathering. Leading out from this lanai is a tropical swimming pool that is nestled among mature palms, fruit trees, and beautiful flower bushes. View Hanalei's majestic Hihimanu mountains and the world famous Hanalei Bay in the distance from the partially covered upstairs lanai. In the evening relax on one of the many hammocks and search for shooting stars and faraway galaxies.
The oversized master suite with king bed is complete with a sitting room, walk-in closet and bathroom with jetted tub and separate walk-in shower, and a 67 inch HD television. The other 3 upstairs bedrooms have a king, queen and 2 twin beds. Downstairs offers a one bedroom with a queen bed and full bathroom off the den. Plans for a 6th bedroom are underway. The home has 3 separate inside gathering areas. The great room has a 67" flat screen TV. Also the home features a separate living room and den/office. The fully equipped chefs kitchen has an industrial home version Viking gas range/oven and dishwasher, a large Sub-zero refrigerator, and a 52 bottle wine chiller. There is a comfortable kitchen nook that oversees the hot tub and pool area and a separate Hawaiian style dining room seats up to 10 people. This home also features many touches such as Koa cabinetry, hardwood floors, faux-finished walls and fine woodcraft detailing. Although not needed in Hawaii and not used, the presence of a cozy fireplace in the great room sets the mood for a welcoming ambiance. Air conditioning can be accessed at an additional cost but usually not necessary. The home enjoys pleasant trade-winds throughout most of the year. Please inquire about the A/C.

Starting from $800.00 per night. 30% down to hold a reservation. Balance due 75 days before check-in. $1,000.00 security deposit. $520.83 cleaning fee. 4% processing fee. Listed rates do not include tax. Holiday and peak season rates and required length of stay may be different than quoted above. Credit cards, cash, checks and wire transfers accepted. Minimum night stay varies amongst the various rental units. Many rentals have 30-night minimums.

We loved our stay! What a beautiful home. The only drawback was the number of bathrooms. For our party was not quite what we needed. Other than that, everything was perfect!!!

Our stay at Hihimanu was incredible. The house is amazing as well as the grounds. Extra outside trash cans would be nice since there is only one trash pick up per week, but it was all still great!
