 We really enjoyed our stay there - and the proximity to the pool was fantastic - our five year old finally figured out how to swim unassisted! Joe, who takes care of the whole complex, was a treat. The only reason we didn't give it five stars is that there aren't any curtains! This is kind of important since this unit is close by the pool and on the ground floor, so it lacks a bit of privacy. We cooked most of our meals in the kitchen and saved a bundle (avoid the Dolphin Cafe - totally overpriced sub-par food - loved Postcards Cafe, but be sure to make reservations!), shopping at Papaya's market in Hanalei where they have lots of organic foods and the most amazing frozen grain-fed beef burgers we've ever had. The unit was lovely and perfectly located and appointed. Only suggestion is more light, especially in the living room, which has only one small lamp. |
