"9323 Hanalei Bay Resort"

"I rented 9323 Hanalei Bay Resort and was extremely satisfied with the condo as well as the resort. The condo was very clean and well equipped and the views were out of this world. We had every meal outside admiring the beautiful scenery. We all enjoyed the gorgeous pool and the customer service was extremely helpful and friendly. We were very grateful that the unit had air conditioning, otherwise we may not have found the roosters so charming. Kauai has wild roosters all over the island and when we stayed in a non-air conditioned condo in Poipu we were awakened every morning at 5 am. Be warned that you cannot park directly at the condo and need to walk or get customer service give you a lift in their golf carts to the units from the parking lot. It was not an issue with us since we didn't mind the walk, but may be for some people. It is also a bit of a walk to the beach, but they are also happy to drive you. The beach is pretty and quiet but not great for swimming. Most of the bottom is covered in rocks and reef and there is only a very small sand bottom section. The view is beautiful and the water gorgeous. The snorkeling is mediocre. Our favorite beach was Tunnels and a NaPali coast boat trip was our favorite excursion."
