Wainiha weather
If you're looking for a real world paradise, Hawaii with its near perfect weather is an ideal place to visit. Hawaii and its eight islands - Hawaii, Kahoolawe, Maui, Lanai, Molokai, Oahu, Kauai, and Niihau - are situated in the temperate Pacific ocean more than 2,000 miles off the coast of California.

Wainiha Weather Forcast
The high water temperatures in this region (usually in the high seventies Fahrenheit) keep the air temperatures fairly constant and always pleasurable. When people think of the ultimate in comfortable climates, the islands of Hawaii and Wainiha are first in their minds. Interestingly, outside of the usual clear skies and warmth, the Hawaiian weather can be different from one side of an island to the other. Due to the varying altitudes you may discover anything from snow flurries on the volcano tops to sun-burning heat! Something to consider when going from your Wainiha hotel or villa for an excursion around the mountain ranges is that for every 300 meter increase in altitude the temperature decreases about 3 degrees.

We also have some major moisture in our Wainiha rainforests and on the northeast facing sides of the islands we get some of the most intense rainfall anywhere. The southwest (or "leeward") portions of the islands tend to be on the dry side and less windy. The climate in Wainiha is conducive to so many wonderful experiences that Hawaiian vacationers consistently report. Imagine yourself hiking up to a snowy volcano top or lounging seaside in the sun- Hawaii weather has it all. Go ahead and peruse the existing weather conditions in Wainiha, conveniently located right here on our webpages, and let your imagination get you started.

"A River House"
"The River House is located in a most beautiful setting surrounding by verdant mountains with a distant waterfall. Privacy was excellent and the gardens were extremely well kept. The house was lovely and we enjoyed the separate small quarters for our children. Customer service was very good. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone interested in a stay in "paradise". rnrnThe beaches on Kauai are not well marked and it would have been nice to have had specific information regarding how to get to specific beaches. We had read that Tunnels Beach was a great place to snorkel and we knew it was nearby. However it wasn't until our last day that we actually figured out where it actually was (about 2 miles from The River House - turn right into a narrow beach access road about a half mile past mile marker 8) and what part of it was good for snorkeling. We went early, about 630 am, and had it pretty much all to ourselves. It was by far the best snorkeling we had during our 10 days in Hawaii. If you enjoy snorkeling, Tunnels Beach early before the crowds arrive is a must. I just wish we would have known this when we first arrived! rnWe enjoyed a boat ride tour of the NaPali Coast, were awed by Waimea Canyon, and enjoyed the many beaches on the Island. (Anini Beach is another beach we'd recommend to families for swimming and snorkeling). Swimming off the Hanalai Pear is also a great activity for children who swim well."
