Waipouli Luxury Condo C301

Waipouli Luxury Condos was wonderful for our vacation. We rented unit C-301 and it was wonderful. The only down fall for this unit is the road noise heard when leaving the screen doors open overnight. Road noise starts about 6:00AM. However that did not distract from a perfect vacation and we loved the rental unit. It was clean, definite quality and affordable. We found the Wahoo to be our favorite. We tried eating at the Oasis Restaurant right at the complex but the food was terrible. In fact it was worse than terrible. We tried twice to be sure we just didn't have a bad night. We will definitely tell friends about this accommodation and we will be back again ourselves. Thank you so very much for making our reservations and introducing us to a wonderful place.

Waipouli Beach Resort D304

The spectacular view and proximity to the ocean was amazing. The pool and its amenities were great as well. The accommodations of our condo were good too. The only complaint we might have is that the oceanview bar employees were not the friendliest and at times a bit rude to my daughters, who were of legal drinking age and were not treated with respect. The staff of the resort were helpful, friendly and accommodating. Thank you for offering this condo to us for our Christmas vacation.

Elizabeth T., Sparks, NV, 1.4.12

Waipouli Luxury Condo G306

The condo and facility was great. The kitchen was fully equipped so easy to cook. The view was spectacular. The restaurant at the resort needs some work but there are several choices nearby. We were all happy with the condo and would say it was a wonderful experience.

Deb D., Bainbridge Island, WA, 1.1.12

Waipouli Luxury Condo B301

There was a little snafu at the beginning. The instructions omitted both the name and address of the resort, and the key-code was missing. All this caused annoying delay to a group of guests just looking to unload their bags and relax. However, once in, the fustration ended and we were happy. The amenities were spacious and comfortble, not to mention luxurious. This last part was surprising. These rooms are nearly twice as comprobably suits at the Hilton, far better appointed, and at a much more reasonable price.

Last, there was no view from this particular unit, but we were on business and weren't looking for that.

Waipouli Luxury Condo E406 Penthouse Suite

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo. The location was great, and the condo was beautiful. Great view of the sunrise from the bedroom and living room!

Jodi S., Frisco, TX, 9.24.11

Waipouli Luxury Condo C301

The unit was even more beautiful than the pictures posted, wonderfully maintained, with every convenience. The only trick was that we didn't get the pool code, so make sure to follow-up with the agent to get that when you get the room code too. We have small kids, and really appreciated the convenience of the location with a Safeway across the street, and the beautiful wading pool. We moved to the Grand Hyatt after our stay at Waipouli, and my husband commented that when we come back, and we certainly will, we will just stay at Waipouli the entire trip next time!

Noreen W., Los Angeles, CA, 8.26.11

Waipouli Luxury Condo A207

A207 is in our opinion the best choice of the lot because of location within the complex. the unit was clean and fresh and very comfortable. Instructions and suggestions provided were complete and helpful. We would definitely opt to rent this unit on a future trip to Kauai. We were quite pleased with how well the unit was supplied with essentials. We would like to have our complements passed on to Walt and Diane Sledzieski. They have a fine property which has been well taken care of by previous tenants. You can be sure that we treated the property during our stay as if it were our own home. One small point of which you may want to be aware.... when we arrived, ants were tracking into the cupboard. The cause appeared to be that a pitcher was rinsed but not washed after use by a previous tenant and placed back into the cupboard with some residue remaining on it. By the time we left the ants no longer appeared to be as noticable. Also a couple of knives had been returned to the 'block' unwashed. However it is important to point out that this comment is simply an FYI and is in no way to be considered as a complaint or concern to us. Our stay in A207 was delightful!

Waipouli Beach Resort G206

The view, the way it was decorated and how convienent it was to everything on the island. Excellent Duke's, Postcards, Tomkats Grill At Polihale State Park at the end of the road by Barking Sands Missle Range That this cond was a great place to stay Get more toilet paper as soon as you arrive The trip to Polihale State Park and to Waimea

Steve Y., Houston, TX, 6.11.11

Waipouli Luxury Condo A103

The view from the unit was described as not being able to see parking lot. That is technically not true it just depends on which window you were standing at.

Greer J., Los Angeles, CA, 5.2.11

Waipouli Beach Resort G105

Our stay in unit G105 at the Waipouli Beach Resort was exceptional. In all my experiences staying in resorts and condos around the world, this resort by far exceeds in in all aspects. The mahogany doors, the comfortable beds, large kitchen with granite counter tops, new appliances that work great! power conservative features (fans, cooling system) which I think are very forward thinking. The garden view lanai was great to sit out on every morning for breakfast. The resort was also one (if not the) best one I've stayed at. The pool was unique and offered an exciting design featuring waterfalls and water slides. The best part about the pools and 3 hot tubs was the course sand at the bottom - something unique to only Waipouli Beach Resort (in my travels) and seemed to only better my impression of the resort. The price was great, the hospitality of the staff and rental management was friendly and went over and above expectations. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a great comfortable place to stay which is also in (i think) the bst location on the island if you are looking to travel the island during your visit. You are right in the middle of everything. I will absolutely stay here again on our future return trip to Kauai. Thank you for the great memories!

Greg W., Vancouver, British Columbia, 4.24.11

Waipouli Beach Resort F104

What a perfect unit for a family! The yard was great for quick playing, eating outside, and privacy so we could leave the doors open all day with a great breeze! Our favorite restaurant was Verde and shave ice at Ono market (best plate lunches). This was our second visit to waipouli beach resort and this unit is one we plan on returning to again due to it's location, comfortable amenities, and accessible customer service. Through the booking, checking in, and stay customer service was top notch. We cannot wait to return to f104 again and look forward to spending more time in paradise!

Marla D., Buckley, WA, 4.5.11

Waipouli Luxury Condo C301

Last year we stayed in this unit for two weeks, this year three weeks... We are hoping next year to stay four weeks. Great resort, great pool staff, great security staff.

Donald L., Bothell, WA, 3.31.11

Waipouli Luxury Condo D309

OUr unit was very clean and modern. Beautiful kitchen with granite counter tops. THe bathrooms were large and having double sinks was another bonus! Our unit was spacious and very comfortable. I would recommend the Waipouli Luxury Condo to all my friends. It will definitely be a place my family and I will return to again.

Tony D., Terrace, B.C., 3.28.11

Waipouli Luxury Condo D405

We had a wonderful week on Kauai! The condo was very beautiful and worked very well for our needs! Although condo D405 overlooks the front parking lot and the Safeway shopping center across the street, it also has wonderful mountain views of Sleeping Giant and the early morning fog. We enjoyed drinking our coffee and eating our meals on the patio while listening to the roosters crow in the distance. The condo was very quiet except for the fact that you can hear the elevator motor run during the night (but it you have the A/C on you barely notice it.) We did have one little hiccup during our trip when our toddler deadlocked himself in the master bedroom. The condo units are not part of the hotel so we had a VERY hard time getting ahold of someone who had a screwdriver to simply pop the lock. The receptionist in the lobby told my mother-in-law that the units were not part of their responsibility but that he would send up a maintenance man with tools. It took nearly 15 minutes for someone to help us while our son screamed in the next room. We learned our lesson and always kept the patio door unlocked to that bedroom which we could access from the patio. We LOVED eating at Waipouli Beach Resort's Oasis Restaurant on the beach. If you're traveling with small children the lazy river at the resort as well as Lydgate Beach Park are the BEST. Lydgate has small, shallow ocean "pools" with very tiny waves which were perfect for our 20 month old. We would most definitely consider staying at Waipouli Beach Resort again in the future.

Dana J., Scottsdale, AZ, 3.7.11

Waipouli Luxury Condo G404

The condo was more than we could have imagined - absolutely amazing! The view was spectacular. Being in Kauai was great but having a gorgeous place to stay was the best part of our trip. Thank you!

Mindy F., Bellingham, WA, 1.31.11

Waipouli Beach Resort D407

The support we received from Josh was extremely helpful. He helped us secure a car (jeep) we could rent - this was very important to us and helped make our stay on Kawaii much more fun. The room we stayed in was beautiful. The only concern was that the matress of the fold out bed in the living room was too uncomfortable for our son to sleep on. Fortunately, he was able to sleep on the sofa unfolded which was comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Waipouli and would not hesitate to stay there again. It's location on the east side of Kappa was very convenient.

Susan L., Sherwood Park, Alberta, 1.4.11

Waipouli Beach Resort A107

The resort was wonderful and the condo was top notch. Best part of the condo was the wide open ocean vies from the common area. Appliances were state of the art, bathrooms very modern and the furnishings and bedding were excellent as well. There were a few things that kept the unit from a 5 star rating: - several of the light bulbs were out throughout the condo - the lighting in general was poor, surprising since the unit was well designed everywhere else. Had to take lamp shade off the lamp in living room to have enough light to play cards. Hall lights were confusing. Dim in bedrooms as well. - bright lights from parking lot comes right through shear shades in master bedroom. Had to place a boogie board in the one window at night to block the light. - could not get air conditioner working until owner came over. - had difficulty getting ceiling fan in living room to work. Overall had a great time and a fun stay.

Mike M., Arlington Heights, IL, 8.24.10

Waipouli Beach Resort D407

The unit D407 was a first class unit that was right off the elevator. We loved the layout as it provided for a common area for the family yet the rooms were apart which provided privacy. The beds were extremely comfortable and my 2 teenage girls wanted to bring them back with us. The place was nicely decorated along with granite tops in the kitchen and beautiful wood cabinets. Bathrooms were spacious as the unit provided 2 1/2 baths. The customer service was quick and very helpful. We really enjoyed the private beach as it had very few people on it. The grass hut shades were perfect with chairs under them. All of that at no extra cost. The Beach towels are also free and can be checked out to you in the pool area. Spa service is available pool side or indoors. We EACH had a 50 minutes session that was fantastic! My advice to someone staying at the unit is to go to the store which is right across the street and purchase your breakfast and possibly lunch items that can be prepared right in the kitchen of the unit. It will save you time and money. I would definitely recommend this Resort and room to others and we will be back as a family to this location again. It is the perfect location to go between the south part of the island or the North Shore as both are right at 30 minutes either direction. INSIDER TIPS: Make sure you go to Scotty's B B Que for a beautiful Sunset dinner or morning breakfast buffet. The Olympic cafe is just north of your location a few blocks for lunch or dinner along with visiting all the shops located right around them. I can't think of the Pizza place name but it is directly across from the Olympic Cafe. Super thin crispy crust for the pizza's along with italian entrees that are fantastic providing extra large portions. Bubba's Burgers are okay and a must try just to say you did, but the Ono Burger place located just north on the right of mile marker 13 next to the general store is and was voted the best burger on the island. We agree 100% based on size, toppings that come automatic and variety of choices. Look for the little RED HUT to the (Left) of the general store. It's worth the wait. If you have time check out the Princeville Helicopter tour and zip line. We did, along with doing a 3 hour ATV ride and driving to the canyons on the west side of the island. If you take a Napoli Coast Cruise take the one out of Princeville. You get to the Coast line quicker (10-15 minutes) vs taking one out of the south part of the island and going all the way up 45 to 1hr. We have been to Kauai several times and this location was the best. We have stayed in the South Part and the North Part. This Resort and Spa located in the Middle was the best of them all when it came to traveling back and forth. We did not sacrifice one thing regarding this unit or resort. It's first class all the way. The Pruitt's Dallas, Texas

The condo is well cared for, clean, and has a beautiful view of the ocean.

Waipouli Luxury Condo C301

The best thing about the unit was how new and clean it was. It was very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was excellent as were the bedrooms and bathrooms. The shower heads were terrible and there was no hot water after 2 people showered. Some of the shortfalls were - why don't you inform the potential renter that he will be looking out to a work shed and an old apartment building, we never whent out on the lanai. Why wouldn't you have enough paper towels and toilet paper? No salt or pepper. Also don't send 20 emails about changes to the booking. Also the actual info regarding the room unit could be expanded. Supply a map of the unit as to it's location in the complex. The number code to get access into the room was wrong. We had no info on connection to the internet, the connection was behind one of the beds. There was no ethernet cable to allow usage in the other rooms. I left behind instructions on how to connect to the internet. It took me a morning with the local rep. and the phone company to get the internet going. I would caution future renters not to stay in this area if they eat out alot. The restaurants in this area are terrible. We had to go to the south part of the island to eat at the hotels. Do not go to the Luau at the Gaylord's plantation, the food was horrible and the show was marginal at best. The Easter Brunch at the Hyatt was fabulous, we should have gone there for the Luau.

Waipouli Beach Resort F104

We had a another great trip to Kauai. We came a couple of years ago and stayed at Waipouli We did have some concerns about the unit we rented. It was not stocked with sufficient must have items (ie. toilet paper, garbage bags, dishsoap, cleaners). The suite was clean, but there wasn't a decent broom to keep the floor swept. The hot water tank would barely fill one tub. There were lots of lights not working (needing replacing). As this is our second visit to Waipouli we were a bit disappointed. However, we did contact Josh and he was quick to get us what we needed. Someone just needs to take a good look at the suite and make sure it is ready for guests. It seems that the management of the complex has changed over the past two years. The staff didn't seem as friendly when we arrived. Kind of felt like because we were not renting through them we got different service initially. The complex looked in great shape. Had some issues with the availablity of BBQs (only one for the whole complex) and it was out of gas a couple of days in a row. Other than that it was a wonderful holiday. One of our favorite places for lunch was Mermaid's (something...) in Kapaa. Great wraps. Had fun at Lydgate and our 3 year old enjoyed the two parks there. Really enjoyed The Lemongrass Grill and Cafe Portifino. Hope to come back again in a few years.

Waipouli Luxury Condo E406 Penthouse Suite

Our particular unit was beautiful, the ocean view gorgeous, the staff accommodating when needed and most importantly, the resort was so close to immediate needs.......... grocery market, drug store, small cafes, shoppes and banks. The restaurant reopened while we were there--and is sure to be a hit. The resort is located such that with a 30-minute drive in either direction, visitors have a completely different tourist experience. Only concern--prepare for the 10 a.m. checkout--it is a bit early. All our guests said our condo was the best--the most beautifully appointed-- and on the fourth floor, the best located!!

Waipouli Luxury Condo A103

The unit was spacious, comfortable and all appliances were of the best quality. The bathrooms were great, my family enjoyed the big master tub. Staff were very nice and I always felt they were sincere in their efforts to make our stay the best it could be. This was our second visit to Kauai so we had a relaxing time enjoying the sights. We went to Haneipepe and there had our favorite meal at the bakery and cafe, best bakery ever and I think that was our favorite place, I would like to go back to the Friday art shows. We also enjoyed the trip to the reconstructed village. We had small children, so we found the location next to the shopping center very convenient. We bought too much food however. Our coffeemaker used 12 cup basket filters so we had to buy a whole pack, if you have those at home, bring some. But with small children, we found the kitchen fully equipped for us to make meals. We really liked the Smith family luau, much better than the one we had gone to on our previous strip. The food was excellent, the show was also excellent, and it was done in a separate place from the dining area, so it was comfortable. In all, we had a great time. We will recommend Waipouli Resort as a place to stay in Kauai.

Waipouli Luxury Condo G404

don't let the drive up to the resort fool you once inside we never heard traffic on the hwy you wouldn't even know it was there the views in this condo were unbelievable! to have the ocean lull you to sleep every evening was wonderful . the pictures you see on the internet site are honest .the resort was very nice we have stayed at the Hyatt every year (on Poipu) since it opened, so we didn't know what to expect of our first condo experience. It was nice to have a kitchen , living room , bedroom all with oceanfront views. If i could compare it I would say the pool, design of the buildings, were very reminisent of the Hyatt on a much smaller scale. We had drinks (Mai Tais) upon our arrival down by the pool ( the hostess at the beach house said they were the absolute best) and she was right thank you Jason! our favorite place to eat turned out to be the Lemongrass grill !what a wonderful menu and the food was a 10+the ahi with the passion fruit aioli sauce was unbelievable! (catch of the day) service was 10+. We booked our trip thru Hawaiian vacation rentals the staff was nice (sheila) and very helpful. we look forward to staying in this unit next year "good by Hyatt hello Waipouli G404!see you next year!

Waipouli Luxury Condo A103

The unit (A-103) we stayed in was perfect from the location adjacent to the parking area to how quiet the unit was. We were very close to the pool, the wonderful Tahitian Lanai restaurant/bar and beach. We enjoyed not having to walk up/down stairs or use the elevator. The unit was well equipped with gourmet kitchen and all made us feel right at home. My family and I fell in love with Kaua'i and will definitely be back as soon as possible. I would love to afford to purchase/own one of these units as a vacation rental or timeshare. Everything was perfect, thank you so very much for everything. The only negative I could mention were the very small insect varieties that showed up on occasion in the unit, which is understandable in a tropical environment. Keep up the good work. Thanks again and Mahalo...

Waipouli Luxury Condo E406 Penthouse Suite

The only "less than excellent" rating is regarding the sofa bed. It is impossible to sleep on even with the added mattress pad. A blow-up bed would be more comfortable or the unit should be advertised as one bed. The rest of the unit was beautiful, well appointed and maintained and the housekeeper was very helpuful and gracious.

Patricia C., Anchorage, Alaska, 7.19.09

Waipouli Luxury Condo A207

What I like best about the unit was the proximity to the ocean, to see the water so close from our lanai, the exquesitely appointed furniture of Hawaiian style and woods, the decor, the beautiful kitchen appliances, and of course the fabulous pool! It was our best vacation ever! The best part of our trip was a family surfing lesson with Titan Surfing in Hanalei Bay, and an ocean kayak trip around Na Pali with Kayak Kauai, and the Kilohana Luau with the theatre production of the polynsians coming to Hawaii. The fire dancers were exceptional! One piece of advice I would give to other visitors, is become familar with activities (and vendors) you might be interested in, but wait to book the activity until you get here, so you can see how you feel, and not overbook your trip. After all, Hawaii is about slowing down. My advice to someone else staying at this unit would be to tape black plastic bags over the master bedroom windows to block out the parking lot lights that are on all night so you can get some sleep. It was like trying to sleep with the lights on, and I kept waking up thinking at all hours of the night thinking it was dawn. Mahalo, Thank you. It was a wonderful vacation. We will treasure the memories for a lifetime. Aloha, Susan Monheit and family

Waipouli Luxury Condo D309

The unit was beautiful, and well furnished. I didn't like the shower heads. Unfortunately the unit also had ants in the kitchen. The pool was great. When we checked in the unit had not been cleaned. After talking with Cyrilla@ Remax, (who wasn't very friendly) she arranged cleaning. It was several hours before we were able to access the unit. I would recommend the Waipouli Beach Resort.

Lenita A., Los Angeles, CA, 8.5.08

Waipouli Luxury Condo C105

Waipouli Beach Resort C105 was the best place I have EVER stayed in. All the room accommodations were high grade quality. We went to Kauai for a baseball tournament and the large bathtubs were excellent for soaking after a long game. The pool was amazing with the waterfalls and slides along with the food at the bar/grill. We would definitely return and tell all our friends about this place.

Lisa O., Ewa Beach, Hawaii, 7.27.08

Waipouli Luxury Condo G306

We loved the unit. The view was gorgeous! It was beautiful and laid out nicely. My only complaint is that the two bedrooms did not have ceiling fans in them. It was much too hot to leave the windows open and hear the waves. Having the washer and dryer in the unit was very convenient. We would be glad to stay there again on our next trip to Kauai. Thank you very much!

Waipouli Luxury Condo C105

Then unit was nice with nice upgrades that made it feel cozy. However the dishwasher did not work...I had to call 4 or 5 times to get it fixed. The first time was at 2:30 In the morning because it would not shut off and we could not find the circuit breaker (was hidden behind a mirror). When I called the remax lady she was obviously not happy with me on the phone. So one of the nicest ammenities, the dishwasher, we did not get to enjoy. We also went through about 4 different key cards....VERY FRUSTRATING!!!! THe pool was very nice, however I would of though that being a resort they would have music to enjoy outside while swimming. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Lori V., Littleton, Colorado, 6.26.08

Waipouli Luxury Condo C301

Everything was awesome! We enjoyed everyday we were there. The only reason for not a 5 out of 5 is because we were not able to get a late check-out and we had housekeeping knocking on our door @ 9am (1hr before check-out) asking us if we where leaving yet. Other than that, it was awesome and would be interested in staying again and again!!

Casee M., Kuna, Idaho, 3.28.08

Waipouli Luxury Condo C105

the only issue is that unit C105 had a differnt name as the guests, it was under Weinstein vs. Boche, so there were questions when we tried to check in, they took care of us, but I dont understand how that name was on the books when Boche is who paid for the unit. The property was great! Amy Boche

Amy B., Edina, MN, 2.11.08

Waipouli Luxury Condo C105

A beautiful unit and resort! We were pleased to find that there were actually 2 "master" suites, as well as a "guest" bathroom. Everything in the unit was high quality, which, along with the well-stocked (appliance, dishes, etc.) kitchen, made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. My son had a great time on the water slides at the pool, which was laid out very nicely, so as not to cluster everyone in a single area. The Smith's Luau remains the best - best food, best show! All in all, a great trip to Kauai, at a beautiful resort!

MIKE F., Newark, Ohio, 6.28.07

Waipouli Luxury Condo G306

Loved: 1. Unit size and quality 2. View all ocean--fantastic 3. Access--to room, pool and beach 4. Facilities--pool, parking, lighting all good 5. Proximity to Kapaa Suggestions: 1. Curtains on the windows. There is no privacy. 2. Problems with keys very difficult to correct. Front desk not helpful at all. 3. Let people know that ocean is not really swimmable. Wouldn't have altered my decision because beach is so good.
