Pali Ke Kua 130 - The unit was fantastic. Tastefully decorated and recently renovated. The ocean view was great as we watched many sunsets from just outside the doors to the lanai.

Pali Ke Kua 131 - Mahalo! I loved it. A full sized ironing board would have been nice, but I just got back and I have some catching up on several fronts. thank you, Tom Fenlon

9323 and 9324 Hanalei Bay Resort - The views from this condo were fantastic! The restaurants and grocery store in the area were expensive but we got groceries while in Kapaa that were more resonable so that worked out great. This condo had all the upgrades and we especially loved the comfortable beds! Great place to vacation!rnrn

Hale Emmalani - We absolutely loved the Hale Emmalani rental. Very spacious, lovely location, the pool table was a hugh hit, as was the rnlarge TV, and the home was very nicely decorated. We would definitely recommend this rental to our friends and family.

Hanalei Bay House and studio - Great space and layout in total paradise. Beautifully appointed with local artwork, many ammenities (all top of the line) and extremely clean! Plush towles, very soft and comfortable beds and linens. We loved Na Pali Coast Tour right out of Hanelei Bay, Capt. Don and his Crew were very knowledgeable and professional. Our favorite local restaurants were Postcards Cafe for Dinner, Polynesian Cafe, Neide's Mexican & Brazilian, Hanelei Dolphin, & Princeville resort. We also loved the local Craft & Grower's Markets too! Next time we visit, we would like to take the Helicopter tour, see the Botanical Gardens, Fern Grotto, and a local Luau. My advise to someone else staying at HBH is, the location of home can be noisy at times with local traffic and beach goers. rnrnMahalo, rnrnKathy

Hanalei Bay View - It was everything we could possibly have wanted or needed. It was private, comfortable and restful. Our adult children cooked gourmet dinners and the kitchen was FULLY equipped. The best part of our trip...was being together as a family to celebrate my retirement in a most wonderful setting. We have only the best to say about this vacation home and thanks to the owners for sharing of their beautiful, home. Mahalo,Kay

Hale Makai Kauai - We loved our stay at Hale Makai, it's location right on the beach was so very convenient. The beach it sits on had calm waves most of the day and was excellent for rookie snorkelers. We sat on the beach and watched the sunrise each morning with coffee and twice saw a monk seal on "our" beach. rnThis is our list of favorites: Duke's Canoe Club: excellent food and mai tai's. Lunch prices are very reasonable. Hanalei Dolphin: Beautiful location beside a river and very close to the Hanalei pier which is a great spot to catch the sunset. Jo-jo's shaved ice-the employees have very bad attitudes-but the product makes up for it-tell the register person what flavors you want so you get the lecture about how to order in their store. Ke'e beach at the very end of HWY 56-we swam with turtles. rnLydgate Beach-many varieties of fish and easy for rookie snorkelers.

Hale Makana Princeville - The owners of this home have definitely thought of every comfort. We were want for nothing! (except perhaps, air conditioning! But only to close off the stickyness of the tropical air). rnThe two priorities we had for renting were pool and oceanfront. This home has the best oceanfront view on the Princeville bluff. It's even better than the Princeville hotel view!! Every morning we would wake up and look down from the front yard to Queen's Bath, where we could not only watch people cliff jumping, but we could watch the sea turtles lazily floating about! We watched the sunset over Bali Hai from the jacuzzi (although, we think it was installed backwards, as the the best seat is in front of the filter)rnThe mosquitos on the north shore are horrendous! But nothing you can really to do about that, except wear your OFF! as your cologne! And, oh ya...Jay and Karen...thanks for the tease with the LOCKED wine refrigerator!! :)

Pali Ke Kua 139 - What we liked best about the unit was how well it was furnished with kitchen items, laundry soap, towels, linens, etc. The washer and dryer were great, better than ours at home! Same for the dishwasher, so quiet! The tile floor was easy to keep clean. We felt our unit had the best view since we could sit in the living room, arrange the curtains just so and pretend there were no other condos around, just a gorgeous view of the ocean from the grassy bluff. rnThe lei and pineapple with greeting card from Claudia was VERY appreciated...I wore the lei all week and also yesterday at home in CA, to retain some of our aloha spirit. The lei may be a little item, but it spoke of your generosity and hospitality. We also read a lot of the books on the shelf about the HI birds and enjoyed the references on trees and plants, too. rnSomehow we did not arrange for directions upon arrival and had a moment of panic when we could not get our key from the manager's office on premises. They were very helpful in allowing us to use their computer to get your phone number and call for the code for the lockbox. rnWalking down to the beach below the units was also a treasure...very steep but so close and convenient, an easy outing with huge rewards for snorklers. We were in the water daily, sometimes twice. rnThe only things we were not prepared for were the geckos...not surprised to see them in the unit, but VERY surprised by their "singing" and the poop they left on walls, counters and floors...again, nice to have a tile floor that cleaned easily. We made sure to cover our bed as poop was found on the wall over our headboard and on top of the bedspread. rnWe didn't try to see everything on the island, got into the aloha spirit right away...enjoyed the north shore exclusively and felt very relaxed about going at a slow pace. We have a friend on the island who took us on a hike at the end of the road, up the mountain to connect with the goddess of Hula for a very emotional bond...then down to Hanalei for some fresh fish and retail therapy...a complete day. : )rnrnThank you so much for allowing us the opportunity to rent 139, we'd love to return. rnMahalo,rnStephanie and Jonrnrnrnrn

Regency at Poipu Kai 924 - Loved the beach for snorkeling, swimming and boogie boarding. rnTip - reserve adventures before you get there if traveling in July.
