About Honokowai Villas
Our Honokowai luxury rentals provide everything you need for a relaxing and rejuvenating Hawaii vacation. Honokowai is located just north of the Kaanapali Resort in an area known for its scenic tranquility yet with easy access to upscale dining, shopping and immaculate beaches.

Things To Do
Honokowai Beach Park is a great place for a picnic with barbecue grills and facilities including a playground. Though the beach is a bit rocky near the shore this area is relatively well-protected from the open ocean by a coral reef which makes for good snorkeling.

Head over to the posh resort areas of Kaanapali and Kapalua not only for the great beaches but for the variety of ocean activities from snorkeling and scuba diving to kayaking and sunset dinner cruises. Take a surfing or stand up paddle boarding lesson, or just relax on the beach and then pamper yourself with a luxurious spa treatment.

Eat and Shop
Some exceptional restaurants as well as interesting boutique and gift shops can be found nearby at both the Kaanapali and Kapalua resort areas. For fine dining try the Hula Grill on Kaanapali Beach at Whaler's Village. Under the direction of master Hawaii Regional Cuisine chef Peter Merriman, Hula Grill uses traditional island cooking techniques to serve up such delicacies as fresh Hawaiian ahi with wasabi and shoyu, and shitake, bok choy and goat cheese with ginger soy butter. For some fresh greens try the vine-ripened tomato and Maui onion salad.

Want to head to the beach? Grab some picnic take-out food at Honokowai Okazuya and Deli which offers sandwiches, pasta, salads and vegetarian options for very reasonable prices.

Getting Around
A rental car is recommended when staying in Honokowai luxury rentals so you can explore the area's pristine beaches, the posh resort areas of Kaanapali and Kapalua, and Maui's many other attractions from the scenic Upcountry and Haleakala volcano to "Heavenly Hana"
