The unit was the perfect size for our family, and very child-friendly which we needed with a 4 year old and 2 1 year olds.. Craig and Fran were great. Craig gave us go info about restaurants and beaches. The best part was spending time with my family. Our daughter and son-in-law went to Merrimans and said it was great. Otherwise we ate at the house. Our son-in-laws are quite good cooks. Best picture was of grandkids playing on the beach. Can't wait to tell friends about how beautiful Maui is. Advice about staying at unit is take advantage of leaving the sliding doors open. We would definitely recommend the Flyin Hawaiian Zipline. Insider tip-eating at Merrimans and going to the "Baby Beach" by Lahaina. We would like to do Highway to Hana and to go horse back riding. Our entire family enjoyed our time on Maui. It is truly an amazing creation of God.

The house and location was great. Our main reason for not rating this property higher was that the hot tub/ pool heater was not working. We did inform the owner and he said he would have some one fix the problem. We never heard back again from him with an update. I emailed and called our rental agent but received no response. When you pay that much for a property, you expect everything to be well maintained and working. Not being able to use the pool or hot tub was a major issue for our group. Due to the lack of follow up to our problem, it would be hard to recommend the property or our rental agent to any friends.

The home was fabulous and very well equiped for a rental. It is unfortunate that the home is beginning to show the signs of wear and tear from renters. The home is beautiful with many fine upgrades and detail that should be appreciated and treated as such. The home had several items that did not work properly. The exterior TV, the stereo system, and the pool sweep were not functional. I do not want to make this sound like we did not enjoy the home, because we did. It is just that people should expect a few things to go wrong even with the best of homes. All of the issues we encountered could have been minimized by a more available property manager. The manager was very knowledgeable but was difficult to contact and schedule. This was the only thing that for us, kept the experience from being 5 stars instead of 4.

We all had an absolutely wonderful time at Kapalua Manor and I would have rated the experience a 5 if the air conditioning in the master bedroom and the bedrooms serviced by the same unit was functioning for the last six days of our visit. Despite the promised sea breezes it was quite hot at night. Otherwise, the customer service was outstanding.

The home was beautiful, had magnificent views and was in a perfect location. We loved that the bedrooms were large and each had their own bathroom, with the exception of the Master bedroom. We found it very odd that this was the only room in the house which had to share a bathroom with another guests. For this reason alone we would not consider renting this property again. Additionally, there were a lot of little problems with the house which created inconveniences for us. We did call the rental agency to get these items repaired and although the maintenence man came by and looked at the problems, none of the issues were actually resolved. A list of issues: BBQ light did not work so we were barbequing in the dark. The outside sconces (backyard) stopped working half way through our trip The locks to the bathrooms did not work one dishwasher did not work The handle in the master bath shower came off the first day we used it and was never securely on Both refrigerators did not work properly, the temperatures were at about 43 degrees which did not chill the food or drinks enough Thought you should know about these.

The house was great, tt had everything we wanted. We had a wonderful trip. The customer service was great, thanks for your assistance. The air conditioning for the guest bedrooms side of the house was not working. It would not cool the two bedrooms in that zone. Please pass this along to the owner.

This house was AWESOME! I took all 13 family members and it was perfect! Everything from the location to the breeze that gently blew through the house. It couldn't have been better! The house was breathtaking and very user friendly. The views were sensational! We celebrated thanksgiving there and the kitchen was perfect for our big family dinner. I can't say enough about our experience OR the beautiful setting that the prince of polynesia provided our family. This is a very lovely and elegant home with a killer view. If you are looking for a spot to relax at the end of a busy Maui day this is it.
