What I liked best about the unit I rented was its proximity to the beach and local amenities, as well as the authentic "Hawaiian" feel of the house. The customer service I received was very good. The best part of my trip was the memories we made together as a family. The best restaurant I found was Stella Blues. I can't wait to tell all my friends that we had a great trip as a family. My advice to someone else staying at this unit would be to make sure you use the services and amenities available to you. The part of my trip I would definitely recommend to others is to stay at a property managed by the Management company that took care of our house-- they were very good. I didn't have time this trip, but next trip I'm looking forward to more scenic drive-- Haleakala, Hana, etc.

Our large estate home is nestled on the desirable sunny south shore on a private, gated road. Better yet, it's right on the beach! This lovely traditional hawaiian home was custom built for a prominent local family in 1947 and has been fully restored yet retains all its original charm.
This meticulously restored, fully air conditioned beach house is nestled on a large lot, adjoining a beautiful three acre beach reserve which is an ideal place for children to safely play. more »
A hammock provides the ideal spot to relax or read a book. The golden sandy beach is protected by an ancient coral reef keeping the waves small and making it a perfect family beach. Ideal for snorkeling, swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, long walks or, simply to watch the sun set with a glass of wine.
The private pool is located off the living and dining area on the ocean facing lanai. There is a gas BBQ and outdoor shower just off the side kitchen entrance, ideal for rinsing off after an afternoon at the beach. A second covered lanai overlooks the lush back garden with a large koi pond. The Ohana does not have A/C.
A private gym area with free weights, benches, mats and shower facilities is located beside the koi pond, under the ohana.
The home features three spacious bedrooms each with a private ensuite.
Bedroom 1/Oceanview Bedroom: California King Bed. Ensuite with shower & jetted tub.
Bedroom 2/Gardenview Bedroom: Two Queen Beds with a double bed in the loft area. Ensuite with shower & jetted tub.
Bedroom 3/Main floor Bedroom: Queen Bed. Ensuite with shower & tub.
There is also a detached ohana which can sleep four people in two bedrooms (one king/one double) and can be rented in addition to the house however, not separately. Though more recently built than the beach house, the ohana is equally charming with its own kitchen/living areas, washer/dryer and two covered lanais.
Located centrally in Kihei Town, you are within walking distance of Kalama Park, restaurants, shopping, movie theatres as well as tennis and basketball courts. Beach and sports equipment available for use. .
