The thing I liked best about renting this property was the location and the hospitality of the host. The backyard pool was a definite asset with our children along. The customer service I received was very good from the initial search for the property right through to the check out process. Our favorite family restaurant was Ruby Tuesdays which was located a short drive from the house. The best part of the trip was attending a luau as well as spending the day on the Pacific Whale Foundation's "Quest" . We snorkeled at Lanai'i as well as watched the local group of dolphins that swam alongside the boat. We saw a few whales, but not as many as we have seen on previous visits. Something else that should be noted is your accessibility to a wide variety of swimming beaches, shopping, and the markets which are all within walking distance. We were also surprised at how quiet it was there. We heard virtually no outside noise. It is very private enclosed yard with a tall fence. There were various sightings of small geckos in the backyard during our stay.
