This rental was very nice! The location was within walking distance to local shopping and Kalama Park beach. The pool and yard are very nice. Maui has some great snorkeling spots - we had a blast snorkeling at Kapalua Bay. Most snorkelers tended to head to the left side of the bay but the right side was much better! We ate at Mama's Fish House - awesome. Next time out, I would eat more local banana bread and avoid spending so much time and money in restaurants (most were expensive with average food/service) in favor of spending more time snorkeling. To save some money, I would head to Walmart on the way to the rental (it's located between the airport and the rental) and stock up on food/supplies there. Relax and enjoy the Aloha spirit!
My Hawaii experience was a first, and it won't be the last. Maui was so beautiful. Everyone was so friendly, so helpful. My whole week was filled with so many activities, including snorkeling in Molikini, luaus in Laihana; the show Ulalena was awesome. The house in Kihei was wonderful, the owner was so nice. It was wonderful to have almost our own personal pool. the bedrooms were all beautiful; actually everything was beautiful! thank you to Lynn (the owner)
We enjoyed our stay in the home! It was clean, comfortable and nicely done. The outdoor area was nice except that we did not like the unfinished yard and surrounding areas which were visible from the yard and patio. The fenced area and perimeter should be finished to make it more visually appealing.
