What I liked best about Maui Kamaole E202 is the ideal location in Kihei - it was perfectly situated for going to beaches, within walking distance of restaurants and shops, and right across the street from the boat launch where all the good snorkel tours put in. The unit was beautiful, well equipped, very clean and quiet and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The customer service I received was spotty. When I tried to call the rental agency few days before departure to make sure my reservation was in order, the voicemail box for Ashley in guest services was full, and I couldn't reach a live person for two days and could not get a callback. On the arrival date we had the same problem, couldn't get a live person on the phone, and the owner of the rental unit was traveling and was also difficult to reach, and we had problems with the electronic lock and couldn't reach anyone to help us. We fiddled with it for 20 minutes and finally got it to unlock, fortunately. We did have better service later in the week when we reported a minor plumbing problem, and it was resolved the same day. While the unit itself was enjoyable, I don't think I would rent through this rental agency again because of the unresponsiveness and will try VRBO in the future.

The owners were traveling at the time, and the person filling in for them had a family emergency, which we knew nothing about until the day before you checked out, when you called us about a plumbing problem. We strive to be extremely attentive to all of our guests, if and when they call us, and do provide daytime, and after hours emergency contact numbers. We hope you had a nice vacation, despite the issues.
