I liked the central location on the island. The agent could have left a note about the condition of the couch when we arrived and it would have saved a lot of heartache. Please note, now both pull-outs are busted. Otherwise, I appreciated Kelly's appearance and the owners' coming around to see the situation from our perspective: paying customers.
The pool was beautiful, but I did find the rule against drying towels and beach wear outside anti-green for this day and age. The kitchen was well equipped but there was only one tennis racket. Beds were comfortable. There was no notice about having to register the car, which would have been helpful.

We could not have enjoyed our stay at My Waii anymore. The house had everything we needed and you really cannot beat the location and view!

We enjoyed Hale Kehei Main, it was central to our activities and thus made our excursions easier to arrange. However there were some things that we would change if we could. The fact that there was an abandoned vechile with a bbq on the hood at the entrance to the driveway an incredibly unsettling welcome. It made us question the neighbourhood. Our property manager was great but the fact that our initial breifing included the info that the house was being sprayed for ants the next day was a bit unsettling. We realize that Hawaii is a tropical locale and that there are critters, but we would have hoped that the spraying would have happened before our arrival as we had 2 children with us. We all really loved the house and the decor is amazing, we can tell that there was some thought put into making us feel the "aloha spirit". The house is well equiped but we would have appreciated glassware instead of the plastic glasses. Our glass of wine on the lanai after a great day at Big Beach could have been more enjoyable with some real stemware.
These things are small issues compared with the great time that we had on Maui. We all agree that Hale Kehei Main is a perfect launching point to see Maui and to enjoy all the wonders that it offers. Thanx to our property manager, Kelli, for being available to us and for directing us to some great beaching and snorkeling spots. We spent our last night at Pizza Madness in Kehei after hearing about it from our Haleakala Bike Tour guide and from hearing about it on the radio and highly recommend this entertaining spot to anyone visiting Kehei. Thank-you for your help in making our vacation to Hawaii, and Maui in particular, an experience that will last a lifetime.

Our daughter, husband and I liked the porch with the nightly view of sunsets the best as well as the pretty much fall proof shower.

Customer service was outstanding esp since Christine, the owner called to warn us of the 2/27/10 tsunami herself and even invited us to stay w/her brother's family for 7 hrs that day. Above and beyond. The managers, Paula and Bill were very helpful but renters are not aware that they do NOT serve as hotel "go to " people.

The van trip totally around Hana and the washboard road. Views were exquisite.

7. My advise to someone else staying at the unit, was be careful of the patio screen doors and also the doors. They come off the track VERY easily.
8. The best part of our trip we would recommend is to explore this wonderful Island. So many hidden charms
9. Best insider tip was at a restaurant, try a different type of fish, it was just WONDERFUL
10, Did not have time on this trip but NEXT TIME am going to go into the SHARK TANK no matter what anyone tells me NOT to do.

We had a family of 14 and this home was perfect for us; everyone had a place to sleep; everyone did their own thing during day and we gathered together for all evening meals. The adventurous adults did the zip line which they loved and would do it again. We went to a laua and it was fun; I was a little disappointed in the sugar train ride for the kids; the plantation ride was much better! We ate at local restaruants in Kiehei and all was good; we ate at the Aloha Plate and Grill in Lahiana and would go back there again. The sunsets in Keihei were gorgeous. We golfed the Emerald Course at Walliea and would do that again, what a gougeous place! We rented a photoghrapher to come and take our family picture and they were wonderful to work with. I am really tired! Barbara

The best part of the suite was the view.
Customer service - still working on it. I am waiting to hear back from them.
Best part of my trip - my activities with the family - we went snorkeling, scuba diving, took the Road to Hana, Baldwin Beach, went to Lahaina
We cooked on site and ate with friends at their places as well as went out a few times. We went to a pizza place near the Maui Dive shop that was good and Hard Rock Cafe in Lahaina which was also good.
Be prepared to have to buy toilet paper, laundry and dish washer soap. We only had 4 adults and we ran out of toilet paper and had to buy laundry soap because there was none.
We didn't have time to go up to see the Haleakala Sunrise.
