The condo was beautiful. The pool was way too cold to swim in but the beautiful views almost made up for it . We appreciated the use of the boogie boards and beach chairs. The area seems to be very windy but again the views are the best we have ever had in our 9 trips to Hawaii. Seven days are never enough we would always suggest at least 10 days. We had a fantastic time in 309 and we will never forget those views. Thank you.

I like the ocean view the best. The best part of our trip was the sunset cruise on the Alii Nui. The best restaurant I found was the Maui Brewing Company. My advice to someone else staying at this unit would be: a. wear the supplied water shoes - the rocky beach is sharp b. bring your own shampoo and soap c. if you turn the TV off and not just the cable box, you need to put the TV on channel 4 to see a picture (not mentioned in instructions) Snorkeling near The Westin is great, only so-so directly by the rental unit.

Comment by Owner/Manager:
Thank you for the feedback. There is shampoo and shower gel provided for all guests, so it is not necessary to bring those items. There are detailed notes in the Welcome Book for using the TV and DVD player.
The view and the turtles were incredible and if you like solitude, away from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets of Lahaina but only a short drive then you have found the place! custmer service is prompt and curteous though not needed as everything is there and arranged! My best advice is not to take too many clothes or buy to much food.. all you really need is a couple swimsuits and a cover sarong and thongs, for food just by fresh fruit and fresh fish and grill them on the lanai or at the pool side grill! The very best was the beds...I don't know what they were but I want one! Best sleeping I have had in years! no back ache, no neck pain....just amazing! The down side is the beach... there really isn't a beach for the kids to safely play on in front of the complex. The turtles swim right up to the complex on the coral reef there and are a joy to watch and experienced swimmers can swim with them there but little kids have to be driven to a beach to play in the sand. Maybe if they would put a railing or rope to hang on to along the rock wall to walk to the beach while navigating the slippery rocks I would have felt safer about letting the kids attempt the "beach walk" to the sandy beach. PS: if the waves are too loud to sleep, just close the front lanai door and leave only the side lanai open, then enjoy the ocean lullabyes!
