This home is very clean, and has lots of room. It is walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Lahaina. The only two, or three things that would make this unit a 4 star instead of a 5 star is the small T.V.s and the dated decor as one, and the other is that if you want to sit outside and have dinner and laugh, you must be very quite or the neighbor will call and let you know that you must be indoors by 9:00P.M. sharp, or not make any noise.... (even on a Saturday night). As a large family, we loved the location, but if you do want to be on a nice beach, you do need to get into your car and drive. Overall, the trip was great, and it is alot of fun to just hang around the pool and BBQ!
What I liked best about the complex was that it was ideally suited to our family of 15. The 3 sets of parents and little kids were in the main house and my older grandson and friend stayed in the pool house. This left me to have the apartment over the garage. Everyone was happy with their arrangement. The customer service I received from the very beginning back a year and a half ago when I made the reservation has been excellent. The responses to our many questions were always answered promptly and completely, even the little ones like "how many refrigerators are there." We came in a little early, but was accommodated by Mack, who was always available for calls and questions during our stay. The best part of our trip was that we could all stay in one place, instead of three or four condominiums/hotel rooms! We were able to make arrangements, have the kids at the beach or the pool and go on excursions without the problem of trying to contact each other. My sons and their wives all took one night as a night out and went to several nice restaurants, one within walking distance to the house. This was the most memorable vacation we have taken as a family and being at the house together was a major factor in making it so.
Lahaina Travis home was the perfect vacation for our family....mom, dad, kids and grand-kids...12 people. Plenty of privacy for everyone, lots and lots of bathrooms and a great swimming pool and spa. We felt like we were in our own private resort.....fully fenced for privacy from the public. It was an easy walk to the beach or into Lahaina so minimized the use of the car. Only negatives,,,,,,decor was a little dated. April 2007
great place for a large group that still wants some separation and privacy.
The Lahaina Travis Home was a perfect location for our family. The kids loved the pool and we were able to keep our eyes on all of them since it was just our group. We could not have been happier with our choice! Mack the property manager was just great explaining everything. It was so nice to have the separate 2 bedrm unit for one of our families to use. The kitechen was well equiped and made it easy to prepare meals. We will definately use the house again when the opportunity arises. Thanks!!!
This was absolutely the best vacation ever. The weather was wonderful and the company was not to be beat. Everyone loved the Travis home and we are all vowing to return.
Everything was perfect except for the fact that the neighbors kept complaining. If you stay here and are going to party, expect complaints from the neighbors.
