Unit 153-3 was awesome. So well stocked, clean, and quiet (inside). The place was so welcoming when we showed up, all the A/C's on and Hawaiin music playing. There are so many wonderful things that we did. Snorkeling at mile 14, Ahihi Beach, and on a morning trip with the Pride of Maui. The Feast at Lele was great. If you stay at Puamana remember that it is home to many and be respectful. The grounds, pool, and beach access were unbeatable. There was road construction right on the highway by the condo and a remodeling job in the unit building. Noisy during the day outside, but hey, it's Hawaii and we were out doing things most of the time. The cleanliness and quiet atmosphere inside made it so enjoyable. I would recommend this unit to anyone I know.
Hello! I know I speak for our entire family in saying that we have NEVER had a better vacation! Puamana 153-3 was AMAZING! It fit our family of 6 PERFECT! It was definately a sense of truly being in a home, while in Paradise. We were in Maui once before in 2003, at a hotel in Kaanapali. That was nice, but this couldn't of been better! We didn't book anything ahead, only while we were there. We parasailed, ate at Bubba Gumps, went to big beach, snorkeled and saw lots of dolphins and turtles, but most of all, enjoyed the scenery at our leasure, along with great Hawaiian hospitality that we so looked forward to :) We even bought a timeshare!! We live in Seattle and absolutely enjoy the sun when we can get to it. I think the next trip we would like to do the morning bike ride down the volcano and take the trip to Hana. Whatever we do next time, we will have a great time! I would (and have already!) recommend Puamana 153-3 or any other condo located there, to my friends! What I liked best about our unit was that it was very well stocked. I still can't think of what item I would suggest to have added - it had everything you can possibly need - even beach chairs and coolers! The customer service I received while there was excellent. We enjoyed the pool and tennis court very much too. Puamana felt very safe. There were security guards at all times of the day and night. I would definitely recommend this facility to friends and family. Thanks, we had a wonderful time! Maria Valdez
This was a great rental unit. It really felt like home. There was plenty of room to give everyone privacy. We saved a lot of money by purchasing groceries at the Safeway grocery store (stay away from the local general stores-the prices are outrages). This was an excellent location with a beautiful beach!
we encountered a couple of problems #1-we stayed in june and we received gate code information for april. It was very inconvenient due to the fact that we arrived at 10:00pm. Called many numbers to get into complex with no results-lucky to get a homeowner to let us in. #2 We called someone everyday to fix the broken air conditioners in the master bedroom and main floor. No one ever showed up...very hot sleeping. Was not happy with lack of support. #3-we encountered centipedes in the condo-you probably need someone to spray. Otherwise the complex is a great place to stay.
Great place and great location! Close to all the comforts of home, but far enough away from tourist clutter. Beautiful views of mountains and other islands. Truly a dream lived. We all loved our stay at Puamana and are already planning for next time. Thank you!!!!!
Puamana was an excellent choice for our vacation stay - perfect location, beautiful grounds, lovely townhome. I would recommend it to friends and family.
