Lahaina Shores 511

Loved the Lanai, watching whales with morning tea, noon time, afternoon, etc.
Watching whales from the lanai with sunset glass of wine.
Comfortable bed, sunny, airy, light room,
everyone was friendly - staff as well as vacationers.

2 things that i missed --- wish the beach was really swimmable there, I was sorry to have to drive to swimming beach - it is really VERY shallow and rocky.
also, really missed WIFI. We were quite surprised to find that there was none available in the building at all.
That said, we would definitely come back here again!

Puunoa Beach Estates 203

We were absolutely surprised of what the unit looked like.
The pictures don't come even close to the real thing.
The best part of this rent was the view.
The estates are close to the town center with all the nice shops and restaurants.
The bet parts were the whales and the helicopter flight over the island.
We do have to come back and do it all again and more ....

Endless Horizon

The home was beyond gorgeous with a perfect location, 5 min to downtown Lahaina (if you wanted you could bike or walk to Front street), another 5 min to kanapali and super easy access to the airport, Haleakala, the aquarium, hikes, etc. A park for our children was a just a quick 3 min drive. The home was very well stocked with swim toys, noodles, a boogie board, and everything you could possibly want for cooking. You wake up every morning with the most gorgeous views of the ocean, the island of Lanai, and whales abounded! We had some issues with the property management company, but the owner of the unit was quick to address and ameliorate all of them making the stay fabulous. The owner's handyman, Joe, is also this phenomenal, professionally trained chef. He prepared a meal for us and our Maui friends one evening and it was truly one of the best meals we have ever experienced. Such a special night and I cannot recommend him enough! Make sure to ask the rental company for his info! The best part of the trip was being together as a family in one place enjoying all of the beauty and excitement of Maui. The best restaurant we found was Hanu in Lahaina, such unique, healthy, delicious food. The best salads and tuna-bruchetta we have ever tasted! Hula Grill is great for a fun evening on the beach and Beach Bums next to the aquarium is wonderful for BBQ lunch! Warren and Annabelle's magic show is hilarious and not to be missed! Golfing at the Dunes and at the Four Season on Lanai is a golfer's delight! The Pacific Whale foundation does a great whale watch and all of the money is donated to whale research. The I'o needle hike is gorgeous and perfect for younger kids (ours were 2, 5, and 7 at the time). Don't miss driving to Haleakala and the views from 10,000 feet! Be sure to rent kayaks at 505 Front Street and try a surf or paddle board lesson from Goofy Feet, also at 505 Front Street. My advice to someone else staying in the home would be just enjoy and pinch yourselves that you are able to stay in such a breathtaking place because your vacation will be over in a minute and views like that are hard to come by! Of course after two weeks you really get into the swing of things, but there are new Maui "finds" you are discovering daily; and we cannot wait until next year to experience Maui again. This home was perfect, great views, pool, bedrooms, gorgeous bathrooms, amazing kitchen, loved the location and the little horse farm down the road was so nice for our children. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to our friends in Chicago. Can't wait till next year! Marisa M, Chicago, IL

Lahaina Dreams 6 bedroom

We could not have found a better place to have our family (multi-family) of 17 people - kids ranging from 19 months to 8 years - young adults and grandparents. The spaciousness, the beauty, all the amenities we could want, in one truly gorgeous home. The pool and hot tub were used daily -or multiple times daily - even when we spent the day at the beach. The kitchens were a joy to work in (even on vacation). We mainly used the big kitchen for all our family meals- with room enough for all to pitch in & help. It was a great retreat for all 5 families. We enjoyed the occassions we were able to talk to Sparky & Linda (owners) & the beautiful-well mannered dog was a hit with the little ones. Thank you for opening up this home to us! The walks down the long beautifully landscaped drive - and the trails were wonderful. We would also like to thank our Vacation Rental Agent - Jeff B.& his crew (Hawaiian Beach Rentals) - for helping us find this awesome place- and the little touches they added- such as the welcome package with goodies, coffee, sunscreen and much more. I can't find the words to tell everyone just how amazing this place is for a large group & we all hope we can do this again. (We got spoiled & now, no other place will ever be as good as this one.) Aloha!!

DONALD & LAURA R., TILDEN, NB, 1.28.12

Kaanapali Royal H302

We loved the floor plan, it was perfect for two couples. Lots of room. The gal at the desk at the condo office was not very friendly . She just wanted the parking fee and that was it. It would have been nice for the condo to have a listing of resturants, things to do in the area, etc. Some recommendations. We liked Betty's, Buba Gumps, Maui Brewing Company had fantastic onion rings, Dollies Pub was also very good. Did not like Moose McGuil (something). Loved the whale watching and the dinner cruise with the save the whales group. Highly recommend both as a have to do. We recommend that the owners of the unit we stayed in need to do some work - painting ceilings/walls, replacing all window treatments, the bed in the downstairs bedroom was extremely uncomfortable and adding a TV to the downstairs bedroom would be nice. Location was great, close to so much. It really needs to be updated. I would recommend that you as well as the property manager not be part of that unit until it has some work done to it. Others that we talked to at the pool said the units they were staying in were great and would return. Thanks for your help with the car. We will definitely recommend your organization to those we know traveling to your great state.

Karen S., Sleepy Eye, MN, 1.24.12

Honua Kai-Konea 3 Bedroom

This is a gorgeous, gorgeous condo! The best unit of the best condo complex on this beach by far. We saw a ton of humpbacks while eating breakfast on our patio. Amazing. I would recommend this condo in particular for 2 couples with kids as there are 3 bedrooms - 2 with king sized beds and 1 with two queens. Next time we are back, we would absolutely stay in this same unit. Dukes is a good restaurant, Aina marketplace a bit overpriced. Surf school in Lahaina - Maui Wave Riders - was excellent!
Times grocery store just across the street is great. Java Jazz in the same strip mall makes amazing coffees and smoothies. There is a little gift shop across from the Java Jazz that i can't remember the name of that is super for cute, inexpensive dresses.
The only bad thing about our holiday was that we had to come home!

Mahalo! Our family had a GREAT vacation and enjoyed everything about this beautiful home. Thank you so much for your attention to every detail in making an unforgettable vacation for our entire family. We LOVE Maui and enjoyed the peace and serenity that comes with this wonderful location. Definitely a FIRST CLASS stay at Lahaina Dreams!

Bella Mare Estate

The Bella Mare was fabulous--incredible sunsets, a lovely house and garden, well equipped kitchen. We went with our closest freinds to celebrate a 50th birthday and it was the perfect setting. The concierge service (Thank you, Karen!) pre-arranged a wonderful snorkeling trip to Lanai, as well as a zip line adventure in Makawao--both were wonderful and just the right amount of scheduled activities for us since we did not want to over-plan. The house has 3 queen beds/bedrooms and the beds were very comfortable. This arrangement does make things a little more complicated for non-couples and for full-sized adults or teenagers! The kitchen is very well equipped, as we ate most meals at home and enjoyed cooking together. One suggestion would be to have twice as many mugs since we are big coffee and tea fans but never seemed to have enough mugs. The BEST restaurant was Star Noodle in Lahaina, which a friend from home recommended. The food was unbelievably tasty and original, an Asian fusion cuisine. We ate family style in order to taste as many dishes as possible. We had lunch there one day and were so impressed we made reservations for dinner the next night. It rivals the best restaurants we've eaten in in San Francisco, where we live. All-in-all, one of the best vacations ever!

Bali Hale Cottage

My husband and I spent a week at the cottage, celebrating our wedding anniversary. We cannot say enough about how private, relaxing and enjoyable our stay was. Our "home away from home" was beautiful, well furnished and provided everything we required. With the stunning view overlooking the ocean, balanced against a backdrop of the West Mountains, one never grew tired of being outdoors. The private pool was the icing on the cake to a glorious vacation... we are already planning our return. Wendell our Property Manager was exceptional, greeting us at the home when we arrived and available if required. This is a magnificant property for 2 that are looking for quiet downtime on their own!

Bella Mare Estate

Staying as Bella Mare was wonderful! The view from the back yard and pool area was amazing. The location was great; only about 10 minutes to Lahaina for groceries and beaches. The house was equipped with everything needed for cooking, going to the beach, and just relaxing by the pool.
I would highly recommend a fishing trip. We went out for half a day and caught enough fish to grill for dinner and lunch the next day.
We ate out a few times, and our favorite dinner was at Mala Grill in Lahaina; unusual but exceptional food and service. Also, Cool Cats (in Lahaina) was a great place for lunch.

Karen W., Mendham, NJ, 12.27.11

Ocean Vista Villa

Our stay at Ocean Vista Villa was outstanding. They provided everything needed for our stay. The decor, kitchen accessories, linens, and funiture were all what you would expect to find in a nice resort. The best part of the unit was absolutely the amazing panoramic view not only of the ocean but also of the mountains. The neighborhood felt very safe and private and everyone was very friendly. The customer service was also top notch. We forgot to let the agent know we had arrived until we were actually at the house. She hurried over at the drop of a hat to show us around. The location is perfect for privacy but close enough to drive to the Lahaina tourist areas within 5-10 minutes. MaLa was one of our favorite restaraunts nearby. My husband hates fish but enjoyed the seared sashimi at this restaraunt. I would HIGHLY recommend this house for anyone that likes to relax. We will definately be back!

Stephanie H., Shawnee, KS, 12.8.11

Majestic Maui

Majestic Maui was our little oasis for 3 weeks, and what a truly remarkable property this is. The various elements of the property were fantastic....from the fire pit, to the water feature and hot tub, to the open floor plan concept. We truly did not want to come home. Some of the highlights of our trip were the helicopter ride over Molokai and Maui, the drive to Hana, dinner at Mamma's Fish House, shopping in Lahaina, good food and good laughs at Warren and Annabelles Magic Show, our visit to the Lavender Farm and picnic at the Maui Winery, dinner at Star Noodle, etc... Get up early and enjoy sitting around the fire pit, and view the stars before the sun rises. It's amazing to watch the moon set as the sun is rising....remarkable! And the sunsets....beautiful. Where else can you sit on an island while watching the sun set behind another? We hope to return again next year and create more wonderful memories. Thank you Aaron for all your help during our stay. Mahalo!

Dorothy W., Dana Point, California, 10.26.11

Ocean Vista Villa

The home was beautiful and the view very relaxing , we enjoyed the it almost every night. The best part of the trip was the Old Lahiana Luau and we loved that we had the concierge service. Karen did a great job with booking all that we wanted to do. I would recommend the steak and fish house on Front street, the Mahi, Mahi was delicious. The only part of the trip that was not up to par was the access code for the Wifi. We were never able to use the internet because the access code in the house book was incorrect. A few calls were made to ask for assistance but we were not contacted for this small problem. Other than that, we had a great trip. Thank you!!!

Makai Nalu Cottage

This unit exceeded our expectations. Beautiful inside and out and the outdoor living style was phenomenal. Complete privacy in an island and intimate setting, my husband and I look forward to revisiting again and again. The customer service, specifially the concierge services was fantastic, and with a small scheduling error, the recovery and rescheduling was outstanding. We've already told many of our friends who are planning trips to Maui and will be excited to share experiences with those who choose this property. The private setting and pool was fantastic after an outing scuba diving, snorkeling, parasailing or just hanging out on a beach. The outdoor shower was the most unique to us and was used many times during our 8 day stay. The town of Lahaina is charming and has just about anything you could possibly want or need. We happend on Mama's Fish House out of Paia on "the road to Hana" which was incredible and 5 star all the way with the property right on the beach and a breathtaking view. We have agreed this was our best vacation ever and wouldn't dream of going to Mexico with such a fabulous place right here in the good old USA. Living in Alaska, this was everything we dreamed of and more as winter is already knocking on our door here in Bethel. My husband and I started renting private homes several years ago and have never been disappointed. Our week started with a couples massage on the lawn overlooking the ocean and ended up with a 15,000 foot sky dive our last day as we awaited our plane in Ohau. From relaxing to extreme adventure, I would recommend this to anyone.

Linda F., Carmel, CA, 10.3.11

Bella Mare Estate

We loved how well equiped the home was! We did miss a tea kettle but Belle Mar seemed to have everything else. Customer Service was great! Floyd checked in on us a couple times and responded quickly when we accidently locked ourselves out of the garge. We ate in all but a couple of meals but enjoyed a nice dinner at Kimos and drinks and appetizers at the Plantation Golf Club House. My advice to others staying in this unit: enjoy! it is a wonderful, comfortable home with knockout views. I would tell others to skip the farmers market - we never did find it and was very dissapointed in the roadside fruit stand.

Lee R., Oakland, California, 9.26.11

Majestic Maui

Truly Majestic. The back yard and the view from that same back yard were breath taking. The great room/kitchen were fantastic and the bedroom suites were spectacular. Our best dinners were at the house, but a must do dinner is at Mama's Fish House. Even if it's the only dinner you have away from home, it is a must.

Daniel O., Salinas, CA, 9.20.11

Bella Mare Estate

What a beautiful home! We walked through the doors to an unbeatable view of the ocean and Lanai. The managers were there to greet us and anser all questions and get us settled. The rooms were so comfortable and we lived outside around the pool, bar and barbeque. We hope to come back. Vacation Rentals and the Concierage were more than attentive. We loved going on the America Cup sale boat, eating banana nut pancakes and eggs benedict at Longhi downtown. We bought all the usual tourist stuff and everyone was so good to us. While the boys golfed at Kahalua, the girls had massages at Zensations (I believe that is the name) which is a storefront but wonderful place. Can't say enough great things about our trip and, especially the house which we really did not want to leave.

SHERIDAN B., Coto de Caza, CA, 9.12.11

Tropical Breeze Estate

We loved your house and the location, overlooking the ocean and the mountains behind us. There was enough room for the eleven of us to spread out, with the ohana. The only suggestions we had is with both units there weren't quite enough towels, I washed two loads of towels each day. We didn't find any clothes hangers in the ohana, or pans to cook with, we took turns cooking each evening and everything we needed was in the main house, just a suggestion. We loved the fact that you had shampoo, conditioner and body wash in all of the showers, what a nice touch. The location is close to shopping in Lahaina, Ka'anapali. We received great customer service, I called with questions twice and was taken care of. We went to The Old Lahaina Luau, the grounds are beautiful, the food and entertainment was great. We found some great snorkling spots above Kapalua, and by Black Rock. The kids and grandkids loved jumping off black rock. The family gave us a dinner cruise on the Quicksilver, the food was great, and so was the staff. We took everyone on a snorkle cruise to Molokini on the Four Winds II, we enjoyed the captains humerous comments, and the staff was great, also the food was good and the was food out to eat the whole time we were on the boat. My family loved the slide into the ocean. We liked eating at Cool Cat and Cafe O'Lei. We hired Aubrey Hord to take 45th Anniversary pictures for us at Kapalua Bay, we are waiting to see them in a couple of weeks. We got several pictures of us at the Banyon Tree, We bought 11 Aloha Christmas Eggs from a teacher under the Banyon Tree, she put each of our names on the eggs. She is mailing them to us. We got a picture of all of us at the Old Lahaina Luau and a picture of us on the snorkle cruise, strangers were kind enough to offer to take our pictures. Hula Cookies and Ice Cream is a great place for dessert. We took a trip to Hana in our three little jeeps, we played under some waterfalls, my son , as well as all of the others loved the Black Sand Beach, actually it was little tiny pebbles. Our last stop was The Seven Sacred Pools, they had a blast jumping off the rocks into the pools. What great family memories in Maui.

Hale Makoa Kai Estate

I loved the location and privacy of this house and it was still close to many local sights and events. The very best part of this vacation was the comfort we experienced and dining out side watching a Spectacular sunset that differed every evening. The Old Town Laua is not to be missed. And difinately take a guided trip to Hana . Some one who can tell one the complete history of Hawaii and the many sights of the Hana Road.

Joan G., Capitola, California, 8.21.11

Makai Nalu Cottage

This cottage is a little slice of heaven. If you want a romantic, peaceful experience, this is the place. We enjoyed lounging in the private pool and the gazebo/day bed. The ocean view was so peaceful and the star gazing at night was spectacular. We especially loved the outside shower with an ocean view! The unit was beautifully decorated with furnishings from Bali which added to the charm. It had a perfect balance of simplistic luxury and convenient technology. The customer service and property maintenance was outstanding. It was conveniently located near Lahaina and all the amenities and activities that west Maui has to offer. We followed the advice of the owners and tried the Star Noodle restaurant. It was fabulous and reasonably priced. The concierge arranged couples massages for us at the property at sunset which were wonderful. They also provided information about golf, tennis and snorkeling trips. Kapalua Plantation Golf Course lived up to our expectations with its beautiful views and challenging holes. The Royal Lahaina Tennis Ranch was a great place to play tennis with inexpensive rates and racquet rental. We also enjoyed the shopping and the Hula Grill barefoot bar at Whaler's Village. The thing we enjoyed most though, was just relaxing at the cottage. My advice to anyone staying here is not to overbook yourself with activities so you can enjoy the peace and serenity this place provides.

Celeste R., Apple Valley, MN, 8.21.11

Tropical Breeze

The pictures of the home say it all. It was a beautiful place and we enjoyed our stay immensly. The house was well stocked with everthing you could possibly need. The master bedroom bed was very comftorable and the house very cozy. I highly recommend this property, (actually I already have to many) and look forward to coming back soon!!!!!!

Eve W., Castaic, California, 8.11.11

Majestic Maui

This was a trip of a lifetime!! We traveled over to Maui with our friends and family to renew our vows. This rental more than exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty and the customer service was great. The views from this home took my breathe away every morning. One of things I miss most right now sitting in my TX home is waking up every morning and just taking in all the beauty. My favorite part of the house was the fire pit in the backyard. We loved sitting around this with all of our friends and just laughing and telling stories. Really everything about the house was perfect. One of our favorite restaurants was Kimo's in downtown Lahaina. It has a great atmosphere and the fish was really fresh. My advice to someone else staying in this house would be to treasure every moment. My family and I will never forget this trip and all the memories we made together in this home. Aloha!

Crystal R., Austin, TX, 8.9.11

Maui Sandy Beach

If I could rate Maui Sandy Beach more than 5 stars, I would! This home had the perfect location and amenities! Just a few steps to the sand, gorgeous views, very short walking distance to good restaurants and markets, yet very private. The home was more than comfortable - everything about this house was "high-end" and the kitchen(s) were well equipped. Any visitor could see that details to the landscaping and overall cleanliness are a top priority to the owner of this property. We appreciated the "hands-on" attention we received from both the owner and our Vacation Rental Agent. Our entire family would love to come back to Maui Sandy Beach!

Leslie R., Huntington Beach, CA, 8.8.11

Lahaina Palms

-The View -Excellent -The length of time we had to explore a significant portion of the island. it is also clear that Lahaina is best town on the island. -Aloha Mixed Plate -At Waimoku Falls -The Safari Snorkel trip around Lanai (out of lahaina Harbor). -Talk to Patrick about how exactly the airconditioning and recycling works. -Take advantage of the concierge service...it costs a little more but not haveing to reseach myself was a huge benefit. -Launiupoko and Pu'Unoa Beaches are the best locations for baby swimmers. -Hiking the sliding sands trail from the summit into the crater, Hiking out Na'ili'ili'haele Falls, seeing both the Infitinit and Venus Pools, and taking the ferry to Hulopo'e Beach on Lanai. We'll be back in the summer of 2013 (2012 is Kuaui)! -The Spink Family

Lahaina Dreams 6 bedroom

We spent 7 wonderful days at Lahaina Dreams. Myself and my wife with our 4 daughters, three husbands and 9 grandchildren aged 11 months to 11 years. There was ample room for all to sleep and play, a wonderful pool, a large grassed area for soccer, hide and seek, play catch etc etc. We were well taken care of by the caretaker, explaining the ins and outs of the house; he was also always available for tips of what to see and do around Lahaina, the beaches close-by, shopping and more; helpful but also invisible when not needed. Best Part: Having the whole family together in one spot to celebrate two important birthdays Best Restaurant: Mama's Fishhouse, a bit to travel but well worth the trip. Best Picture: All of the kids doing a synchronized canon-ball into the pool Can't wait to tell....: I'll be back My advice: Bring lots of kids and have a ball

Burkhard S., Grande Prairie, Alberta, 8.7.11

Bella Mare Estate

Great rental - house was beautiful, well appointed, not "over the top"... great overall. The views, fantastic. The pool - great. It was deep (maybe starts at 4 feet goes to 7 feet?) .. not the best if you have small children who aren't super good in the water. Think about your sleeping arrangements before you get here. The bedroom across the breezeway is wonderful if you've planned out who is going to use it.. it's a bit isolated. It would be nice to include the home floor plan on the website for prospective customers to get an idea of home layout. The house location is very convenient and not in the midst of the tourist hub .. you can get there quickly from the house, if that's what you're going for, but there is a quiet, local, peacefulness we got from this house you don't get when you're in the big lux condos in Kaahului or Kapalua. What to do? Go snorkeling at mile marker 14. Barbeque at home, swim and eat dinner on the lanai enjoying the fantastic view. Grab some shave ice at Ulalani. Relax. It's easy to in this home.

Diane M., Castro Valley, CA, 8.7.11

Hale Ono Loa Modern Oceanfront Corner Condo

I like the ocean view the best. The best part of our trip was the sunset cruise on the Alii Nui. The best restaurant I found was the Maui Brewing Company. My advice to someone else staying at this unit would be: a. wear the supplied water shoes - the rocky beach is sharp b. bring your own shampoo and soap c. if you turn the TV off and not just the cable box, you need to put the TV on channel 4 to see a picture (not mentioned in instructions) Snorkeling near The Westin is great, only so-so directly by the rental unit.

Scott S., Alameda, CA, 8.7.11

Keiki Kai

What I liked best: the house was wonderful, location, accessibility, features The customer service I received was: great, Allen is very knowledgeable of the home The best part of my trip: Cant name just one but to name a few; the old lahaina luau, the haleakala sunrise, road to hana and backside of Piilani Hwy, Kula, Wailuku, Ka'anapali Beach and Kapalua Beach, ziplining, snorkeling at Molokini and Turtle town The best restaurant: Pineapple Grill in Kapalua resort, Leilanis and Hula Grill at Whalers Village, Mala either in Lahaina or at the Marriott in Wailea The best picture I took was: us jumping off black rock in Ka'anapali beach. Also the scenery at Wainapapapa state park I cant wait to tell all my friends that: Maui is probably the most beautiful place I have ever been My advice to someone staying at this unit: None really its a nice place. Take advantage of the proximity to the town Recommended: Dont skip Wainapanapa its gorgeous and after your drive to Hana, drive the backside of Maui, dont reverse your route, and go on a snorkeling tour with Pacific Whale Foundation. They are a wonderful non profit Insider tip: Mauians are way different than the bustling pace of mainlanders. They really respect their land. I didnt have time this trip: to go to the other islands. We could have visited Lanai from a ten minute walk to Lahaina harbor

Roger V., Silver Spring, Maryland, 8.3.11

Bali Hale Villa

Everything was top of the line. The house is amazing, the view spectacular. We had a family reunion of 12 for a week and we did not want the trip to end. Every detail of the house was perfect. Best part about the house was the great kitchen and the outdoor showers. I would highly recommend this house to any family or group wanting to have a relaxing vacation with easy access to all ammenities.

Lisa C., San Rafael, Ca, 8.2.11

107 Lahaina Shores

The location, view. Relaxing and eating in. Snorkeling I had a great time Note: my family enjoyed our trip, the condo could have been in better shape, the washer didnt work, the guest bath shower door leaked, the guest bath sink didnt drain, the service from the condo front desk was not as good knowing this condo was a privatly owned condo. We had a great time, we would stay @ 107 again provided these above items were in working condition.

Villa Makai

The counter tops were dirty when we checked in. There were dogs in the swimming pool multiple times and dog crap on the lawn. As well as mice in the house! And the master suite is not part of the the main house.

Lahaina Dreams 7 Bedroom Estate As Seen On HGTV -House Hunters On Vacation

What a better way to spend a much needed family vacation than in a beautiful private home , perfect for everyone's needs. The spacious living area allowed for long talks and memorable laughs, also , the many separate living rooms and kitchens , provided enough privacy to maintain sanity! This home was more than gracious to our families. Between 18 people, disagreements are common , but we could all retreat to our private areas when needed . The easy access to local shopping, the beaches, and the comfort of the fabulous pool , made us feel right at home . We thank you for the time spent here. Our 9 glorious days on Maui could not have been better. Every memory , we shall carry forever.

Lahaina Dreams 7 Bedroom Estate As Seen On HGTV -House Hunters On Vacation

The name fits perfectly, but words only begin to describe the total experience. If we only stayed here and did not tour this enormous island, staying here would truly be enough . However , when we came back to the Lahaina Dream , after each Maui activity , we shared the fun and laughter of the day , in this beautiful home. The smiles, grins and laughter will linger long after we leave. Our family will return!

Villa Makai

This house was amazing! The views from the moment you walked in were breathtaking. We like how the Master Bedroom was separate from the rest of the house. It gave my husband and I some alone time without interruptions. The owners were very gracious and responded to our needs immediately. We didn't have time or take the time to do the trip to Hana. So that will be on our agenda the next time over. One of the best pictures we took was in the backyard at sunset of our two kids, it will be a wonderful memory for us. My son also posted a video on YouTube he took while swimming with the owners dog, Drummer.

International Colony Club 42

This unit was spacious and comfortable. Our party consisted of 6 adults and an infant, but I could see 3 or even4 couples staying here quite easily. Location within the complex was great and it was just a short walk to beautiful beach areas. The snorkling at the nearby beach was better than the snorkling trip we took. Customer service from Vacation Rental Agent was terrific, as was the service we received from the property management company once we arrived in Maui. Old Lahaina Luau was the highlight of our trip-make your reservations early, as your seating is determined by how far in advance you reserve. I would definitely stay here again.

Terry C., Rohnert Park, CA, 6.22.11

Ocean Breeze

We loved our stay at Ocean Breeze - it was our own secluded paradise on the West Mountains of Maui overlooking the ocean, the island of Lanai and a gorgeous sunset every evening. It was roomy and perfect for our party of 7 giving us plenty of space to hang out together with enough spaces that we could also escape to our own spaces when we wanted to. A beautiful home and the perfect getaway - convenient to just about any part of the island.

Carolyn & Vern B., Hannibal, MO, 6.17.11

Truuli Maui

The best part of Truuli Maui was the incredible view and the immaculate, well equipped home. You truly will not want to leave. We enjoyed a private excursion with Captain Woody that was incredible. The children where in awe when we got to swim with the turtles and fish. What an amazing sight to see. My advice to someone staying here in the future would be to make sure to wear bug repellent for the mosquitoes are out in numbers, do not leave the doors or windows open for you are sure to be eaten alive, book all your activities well in advance and try to deal with only one rental agent. The worst part of our trip was the numerous calls and interruptions of our vacation by agents who seemed to have been at odds over who would get the credit for the booking.

Plantation Hale

Hawaii is truly a paradise. This is our third trip and the first time we have rented a house. The house was so very comfortable and everything we had hoped for. The setting was gorgeous overlooking the pool and ocean. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and we can't wait to return.

Lahaina Dreams 4 bedroom

What a perfect way to visit Maui. This beautiful home allowed everyone their own privacy and fantastic common areas to join together and enjoy this great home . We enjoyed the peaceful setting, wonderful location, and of course the amazing views . This truly will be an unforgettable vacation with many, many cherished memories.

Endless Horizon

Awesome house and location! My advice to someone staying at this house: This is a glass house, the front, back, and sides (including showers!) Make sure you get a schedule of service people because they will show up at any time some of them like to look into the windows! If you like some privacy (as this house is advertised), you may be dissapointed. Also, there is another house 50 yards away with several children running around sometimes noisy. Also, construction in area, very noisy during the day.

Hale Ono Loa Modern Oceanfront Corner Condo

The view and the turtles were incredible and if you like solitude, away from the hustle and bustle of the busy streets of Lahaina but only a short drive then you have found the place! custmer service is prompt and curteous though not needed as everything is there and arranged! My best advice is not to take too many clothes or buy to much food.. all you really need is a couple swimsuits and a cover sarong and thongs, for food just by fresh fruit and fresh fish and grill them on the lanai or at the pool side grill! The very best was the beds...I don't know what they were but I want one! Best sleeping I have had in years! no back ache, no neck pain....just amazing! The down side is the beach... there really isn't a beach for the kids to safely play on in front of the complex. The turtles swim right up to the complex on the coral reef there and are a joy to watch and experienced swimmers can swim with them there but little kids have to be driven to a beach to play in the sand. Maybe if they would put a railing or rope to hang on to along the rock wall to walk to the beach while navigating the slippery rocks I would have felt safer about letting the kids attempt the "beach walk" to the sandy beach. PS: if the waves are too loud to sleep, just close the front lanai door and leave only the side lanai open, then enjoy the ocean lullabyes!

Bella Mare Estate

Renting Bella Mare Estate was an excellent experience from beginning to end. The initial renting of the property to on site support from property manager was an overall pleasant experience. We had a wonderful vacation.

JAMES M., LAS VEGAS, NV, 5.22.11

Bella Mare Estate

Two weeks at Bella Mara was like a trip to paradise. The home and grounds are small enough to feel like home and elegant enough to feel like a 5 star resort. The views are spectacular especially the sunsets only a skilled artist could capture the depth and breadth of color and texture. We loved cooking on the bar-b-que in the outdoor lani and ate every meal on the patio enjoying the views and tranquil breeze. We truly wanted for nothing. One of the nicest features was the outdoor showers - a private setting surrounds you with bamboo panels, 10' tall blooming pink hibiscus plants and an unobstructed view of the ocean with the island of Lani in the distance. Without question, the best restaurant on the island is the Lahaina Grill - be sure to try the seared ahi appetizer! No view but that didn't matter, the food and service made up for that. Cheese Burgers in Paradise on the water is a must - great burgers great setting! There's lots to do on this island and the best part of staying at Bella Mara is that if you want to do nothing but sit around the pool and read a book, you don't feel guilty. It's just too nice to leave. And, when you do finally have to leave, you'll do so with many fond memories. Hoping we can return again soon.

Bella Mare Estate

Bella Mare is a beautiful property. It truly brings indoor/outdoor living to life. The view of the sunsets and the stars are amazing and the outdoor furnishings are so comfortable, you'll never want to go inside. The house was clean and fully stocked. It is close enough to downtown Lahaina that running to the store or restaurants is quick and easy, but it is also far enough away that it is very quiet at night.

Lahaina Dreams 7 Bedroom Estate As Seen On HGTV -House Hunters On Vacation

We came to this house for Chris' 40th birthday celebration , which happened to coincide with his son, Carter's, 7th birthday, his parents 44th wedding anniversary and his sister's 36th birthday. We had a great week . It was a perfect mix of relaxation and hanging out at the house, fabulous pool and spa .It was awesome going for runs and walks along the private walking pathway and seeing and doing our favorite Maui activities . This was the perfect set up for the six families . The house provided multiple living areas , so everyone had the option for family privacy and also for us all to be together. The proximity to the surfing beaches, Lahaina Town , and other parts of the island were also very convenient . Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay in such a gorgeous and comfortable home in such a beautiful setting . We will cherish these family memories for many years to come.

Bella Mare Estate

We loved Bella Mare!!! This was the most incredible, relaxing vacation I have ever had. The view from the pool was breathtaking. We spent many hours in the pool, relaxing by in the amazing outdoor living area and whale watching from the back yard. The view from the front was incredible as well. The home was conveniently located to town and was just a few minutes to the beach. If you are looking for a stress free, relaxing vacation, I would highly recommend this property. We hope to be back someday!!!

We really enjoyed the beautiful property at Honua Kai. The condo was absolutely perfect! I highly recommend this location and property to anyone interested in staying in Maui! I can't express the importance of having a full kitchen with washer and dryer when traveling with a family. It is a must for our family to have these amenities and it just makes the vacation that much more enjoyable!

The house was amazing it has a view that never ends. the ocean, whales breaching as you have your morning coffee and lahania just down the road it was great.

Bella Mare Estate

The view from the house was the best we have ever rented. The caretakers were friendly and left us alone. The house is in need of minor repair, and the yard and grounds were beautiful, but there where piles of bricks and tree branches and yard waste around. I'd put your lawn caretaking at C+ or B- at best. The unit is a great place as there are essentially two separate houses under one roof. perfect for 2 or 3 couples or a large family. Amazing veranda and yard, amazing view. JW

We had a wonderful time. And we can't thank you enough for the work you did to get us a great house the house was perfect for us and it's a great property! Raphael & Tammy maintain the house & property very well and they were a dream to deal with. We spent a lot of time on Baby Beach it was the perfect beach for us. We did agree that we could have easily spent ANOTHER week there and still not do everything we had wanted to.

Very nice home; everything it says it is on the website. My wife and I are already planning our next trip to include both our adult children and their spouses. We also plan to tell our friends about the place. They would love it for their family reunions in Maui.

Lahaina Baby Beach Hale on Front Street Lahaina

We just returned home from 2 weeks at the Lahaina Baby Beach Hale on Front Street property and we miss it already. The house was perfect for our family's needs. The location was premium and as close to the beach as they said! our 4 year old twins loved going to the beach every day and the house was close enough to wander home for lunch. We also took advantage of the Nanny Connection to babysit so we could sample some fantastic restaurants in town, David Pauls, the Lahaina Grill and I'O were all top notch in food and service. As for the whale watching, it was the best show we've seen! we took 3 separate tours to whale watch over the 2 weeks and our best experience was on the Hula Girl Catamaran, with the whales swimming and playing all around us.(and under us!) When we ran out of propane one night BBQ'ing, someone came by the next morning and made sure we had a new tank for the rest of our holiday. Thank you! The weather was sunny and beautiful everyday too. We lucked out. We hope to stay again next year for our holiday, Greg,Kathy from Saskatoon, Canada. ps. The only thing i would recommend is to spend some $ and buy a decent couch in the living room. It really is not suitable for relaxing and watching TV, as it is not very comfortable :)

Honua Kai-Konea 537

The facilities were fantastic. The customer service we received from everyone was great at both the front desk and the Activity Conceirge. We would highly recommend this condo complex to everyone as well as come back again. The suite was stocked with everything we needed. Dukes is a wonderful restraunt, the small store had a wide variety of anything you could possibly want. We did feel that it was advertised as a one bedroom unit and did not realize that it was a studio suite. Additionally the air conditioner was locked we could not use the air conditioning at all. But these are small details and certainly not enough to worry about. Overall this was my best holiday experience we would do it all over again. Debbie Gable & Bill Wheeler

Keiki Kai

The house itself is quite wonderful and well located. We really loved the setting, and access to Lahaina and the beach. neighbors were quiet, and parking was not an issue. The Owner's representative, Allen, greeted us. He did a good job orienting us to the house. The problem is that the house is rather poorly maintained, and there is really no excuse for this. The refrigerator does not make ice, the inside light does not come on unless you tinker with the door switch, and you have to keep a towel under the door because the refrigerator steadily leaks water. The sink in the kitchen had broken faucet parts. There is a problem with the wtaer purifier (doesn't work). The washers and driers make so much noise while running that you can't comfortably sit in the TV room and watch (or hear) the TV. The air conditions cannot be set below 75 degrees or the condensers freeze up, and neighbors complained about the noise the air conditioning units made. There are other items to this list, and the Owner (thru Allen) is aware of all of them. Bottom line: you should not charge a premium price for a property unless it is maintained in premium condition, which this house was not. There is no excuse for not maintaining this house in the condition it is represented online. Other than the non-working items, we enjoyed the trip immensely and have no complaints.

Endless Horizon

The property was outstanding. It was quiet, luxurious and everything that we had hoped for. we spent days at the property and other days on some more adventurous activities. The concierge service that you provided was excellent. All our needs were taken care of by the property management. the only negative comment is that the garbage from the previous week stayed in the garage and was not pleasant whenever we had to access the garage. I am happy to be used as a recommendation for other potential clients. we will likely be back next year and would like to hear about other properties nd specials that you may have. Please send us some information on other smaller properties suitable fo r2 to 4 people that might be avaialble during the same time period next year.

Maui Ocean Escape

What I liked best about the unit I rented was the great views of the shoreline and mountains, particularly at sun down, as well as the comfort of the layout. Also the quietness of the neighborhood, despite being 10 mins away from Lahaina. The customer service I received was very efficient and friendly. The best part of my trip was surfing in the Launiapoco beach in front (5 minutes away) from the house; in the late nights walking in the garden and listening to the deep sound of the wind originating from the nearby mountains while watching a star filled sky. The best restaurant I found was aloha mixed plate in Lahaina The best picture I took was of myself (us) in the garden at sun down, with lanai island in the background.I can't wait to tell all my friends that. My advice to someone else staying at this unit would be enjoy it thoroughly The part of my trip I would definitely recommend to others is The best "insider tip" I received while on my trip was Visiting the hippie town of Paia in the late afternoon. I didn't have time this trip, but next trip I'm looking forward to visit the Big Island And so on.

Lahaina Dreams 7 Bedroom Estate As Seen On HGTV -House Hunters On Vacation

We have had the unique pleasure of staying in many vacation rentals around the world and I can honestly say that the ambiance of the Lahaina Dreams is one of the most incredible we have experienced. The view is awe inspiring and I kept wanting to be able to open my senses more broadly to inhale and appreciate the beauty moreso. With the Sun gently setting over the slopes of Lanai and the Humpback whales breaching on the horizon, paradise was found. We enjoyed the pool and being able to get to such incredible beaches and restaurants so quickly. The owner has done a great job equipping the house with all the essentials so that we did not feel like we were visiting but actually living at the rental. Kudos - we shall be back.

Don B., Wading River, NY, 12.14.10

Maui Ocean Escape

We were absolutely thrilled with this rental unit. Everyday, we were happily surprised to see that yes, you had thought of this or that too... So many details, like the beach towels & chairs, balls, video games and movies for the kids, board games for the grown ups, all the kitchen amenities of great quality, digital cable and wireless access, laundry basket in every room, the comfortable indoor/outdoor furniture... even with a warm blanket right there to take out to the patio if need be! Our very favourite feature would have to be the outdoor shower, a luxury we would never be able to have here in Alberta. Everyday, coming "home" (which is exactly how the house felt), we were excited to walk out to the shower. We also loved the breathtaking views of the mountain and the ocean, on which we saw the best sunset of the week. The location was so nice and peaceful... nestled in the mountain and so close to the beach too! Lahaina had everything we needed, just minutes away. Also, the fact that we had to rent a vehicle made us venture out further than we normally would have. A lady was commenting yesterday on how for first timers, we had seen a lot! We had dinner at the Old Lahaina Luau on the Monday. It was great! We made it to Big Beach and Makena Beach (twice). Also, to Kapalua Beach (twice). We had the best fish tacos and Mahi burgers at the Paia Fish Market, did a little shopping there, and also visited some great shops in Makawao. We missed out on visiting Haleakala Crater because of rain in the forecast. We will save that our next visit. We got to try paddle boarding thanks to a generous stranger at Makena. Next time, I think I would rent one for the week. That was an incredible feeling! One tip: buy your chocolate and souvenirs at Long's. Much cheaper there! The whole rental experience with your company was stress-free. Everything came in a timely manner, instructions were clear, very well done! The only suggestions we would like to offer is to perhaps leave a guest log in the unit so visitors can jot down the good and the not-so-good things to do and see. Thanks again for a great time! Mahalo nui loa!

Endless Horizon

We rented the Endless Horizon unit based on the internet pictures and we were not disappointed, the unit is more amazing in person. To be able to wake up every moring and see the amazing view of Lanai across from us WOW!! The sunsets were breath taking it was such a relaxing feeling setting there in the hot tub with the Tiki torches glowing and the sun setting. The kids loved the pool and it was a great break when we came back from snorkling, surfing or kayaking during the day. It was the perfect home to stay in while we were getting married in Maui, we would recommend this home to any family that was looking relaxing pampered holiday. The unit is in the perfect loaction to set out and exploer the Island we cannot wait to return to Maui again!! Mahalo ;)

Bali Hale Cottage

The cottage was spectacular!!! It was nicer in person than in the pictures. The views were incredible. I normally do not write reviews even when satisfied but I felt I needed to say something on this cottage. We enjoyed our stay!! I actually had a sprained knee and was stuck at the cottage the majority of our vacation. It was the best place to be "stuck". I think even if I had been perfectly healthy we would have spent most of our time there. It had everything we needed. It was quiet, great sunsets, beautiful landscaping, clean, and more than we imagined.

Shelley H., Laplace, LA, 11.8.10

Ocean Vista Villa

Property has great views and provided a quiet and tranquil setting. Close enough to Lahaina to make this a quick trip for dinner and the location to the beaches was a non issue. Great home for three couples to go and share the experience.

Bill H., Portland, Or, 10.29.10

Ocean Breeze

What I liked best about the unit was the large amount of open space, the gorgeous furnishings, the beach supplies, central air conditioning, the pool, and the privacy of the property. The customer service I received was excellent. The greeter at the property was particularly warm and friendly - what a great way to start off our trip. The best part of my trip was the day trips to Ka'anapali and Napili beach, as well as the Old Lahaina Luau on Front Street. The best budget friendly restaurants I found in Lahaina were: Star Noodle and Aloha Mixed Plate. My advice to someone staying at this unit would be: you can avoid the construction on the main highway by detouring through Front Street; be sure to bring bug spray as some of us were blood buffets until then; save space in your luggage as there were plenty of beach towels; the master bathroom shower has 3 showerhead options, use the center one for a traditional, quick shower; be sure to lock all doors and windows before leaving (there are many and it's easy to forget to lock them all); the Cannery shopping center in town is a 10-15 drive and has Safeway, Longs, ABC store, etc for easy stocking up on food and supplies. The part of my trip I would definitely recommend to others is: take a 1 hour drive to upcountry to visit the small towns of Paia and Makawao (cute shops and local restaurants - definitely get fish tacos at Paia Fish Market); try the coconut gelato at Ono Gelato in Lahaina; there is free beach parking to Ka'anapali beach (our favorite) if you turn West on Puukolii Rd towards the ocean; Local Boys Shaved Ice is the best of them all (on Front Street). I didn't have time this trip, but next trip I'm looking forward to is: the sunrise trip to Haleakala Volcano; a visit to the Wailea resort area

Endless Horizon

What we valued most was the view and privacy that Endless Horizon offers. The property manager, Alex, was very accommodating to our requests. The home's floor plan is perfect! The furnishings were very comfortable. However, it is strongly recommended that all beds be king. With half of us over 6', it wasn't very comfortable for an extended stay.....this would make it the only property for another long stay on Maui. We are already starting to make plans. It would also be a great addition to the smaller bedrooms to have a chair or bench so you could have a place besides the bed to sit.....I hope these comments make to the owner. Thank you. Th home has everything to make a vacation very personal and relaxing. The pool was fantastic, the outdoor grill was used most nights. Our two restaurants are Mama's Fish House and Pacific 'O. The food is bit pricey but very well with it.

Sunset Oasis

* What I liked best about the unit I rented was location, decor, personal touches, beautiful garden, pool, propane tiki torches, beds and overall comfort. * The customer service I received was excellent. Patti greeted us and showed us everything we needed to know about the home. * The best part of my trip was learning to stand up paddle. * The best restaurant I found was Mala Ocean Tavern. * The best picture I took was of myself (us)ziplining in Kapalua. * I can't wait to tell all my friends that I have surfed. * My advice to someone else staying at this unit would be the 750 foot elevation means cooler breezes and no need to run the A/C. * The part of my trip I would definitely recommend to others is learn to SUP.

Sunset Oasis

The home was lovely. Clean, new and very well appointed. The location was beautiful and serene. My only cautionary comment would be to bring bug spray, we were eaten alive in the mornings and evenings. The pool and yard were set up impeccably. We were a party of eight and had ample space. The Ohana in the back was key. Lahaina Town was a short 8 minute drive. The local beach just 3 minutes down the hill. We will return.

This home is fabulous from top to bottom and the views from the backyard are some of the best in Hawaii in my estimation. The beautiful pool, firepit and landscaping only added to our wonderful vacation on Maui. We will definitely consider this home again the next time we vacation in Hawaii.

Keiki Kai

Nice home and perfect location with walking distance to the beach and town. The property does need some attention - dirty ceiling fans, inoperable/dirty grills, broken ice machine in the kitchen, general maintenance around the pool deck, etc. However, overall a very good value.

The property was fabulous and has every amenity you will ever need. The way the place is decorated and how every thing needed like home was there. Alex was the best and very helpful. We want to stay at the same place next year!

It had a beautiful veiw and even though we had 5 people staying we all had our privacy. I like how it had the cottage seperate from the house. We will be back one day and will rent the same unit that's how much we loved it. The location was perfect for the teenagers since the town was so close. We had wonderful dinners at Sensai and Basil Tomatoes. My husband said it was the best way to spend his 50th birthday.

Beautiful home with an amazing ocean view! Fantastic kitchen that we fixed most meals. We took three generations, from ages 7 months to 77 years old, our 23 year old son used the cabana house and enjoyed being able to come and go as he wished. Our tip would be lower blinds mid afternoon to keep house cool.

Lahaina Shores Beach Resort - 334

The room was clean and the complex was extremely convenient to everything in Lahaina. We found it small for three people and recommend it only for two. Customer service was terrific both at the complex and with the rental agent. We would definitely use them again. We found internet access to be inconvenient. Unfortunately this was a working vacation and there was no business center for the occasional printout. There was no wi fi access and we had to go to a local coffee shop for this access. Hopefully most of you looking at this rental will not have to make it a working vacation, but that was our biggest issue. Parking was very convenient and unlike many of the resorts, was very reasonable. Overall a nice place to hang your hat, but not alot of frills for just hanging out. But, the proximity to Lahaina made up for alot of that.

Hale Lahaina

This was an amazing family vacation. And this was the perfect house. The children loved the pool and were up before 6 am on the first morning we were there already swimming. It worked out great that every bedroom had their own full bath. And the master suite was truly amazing. The views from the entire house were also amazing. The house was well stocked with both bath and beach towels for everyone. There were so many wonderful restaurants that it is impossible to pick out which one we liked best. I think, for me, the best part of this vacation was watching how much fun my children and grandchildren had. My husband and I were so impressed with Maui, we have already planning on coming back in 6 months to stay again. I would highly recommend using VRBO to anyone and that is how I plan on picking out another property to stay at this November. Thank you again for this remarkable vacation. Dorene

Dorene L., Saint Helens, Or, 6.28.10

Endless Horizon

The house is gorgeous and so open to the elements. We ate all our meals outside and spent all of our free time in the wonderful pool. My 15 month old granddaughter couldn't get enough of it. The way the house is designed in a U shape with two bedrooms on each side, it is perfectly silent at night, extremely well made. Snorkeling on Molokini was great fun, although a bit crowded. Turtle town was more fun, swimming with the huge sea turtles. I am sure there is wonderful free snorkeling all around Maui, but we were limited with a baby with us as to what we could do. Mama's Fish House was absolutely amazing, and well worth the drive. Excellent in every respect. Two of our party played golf at the Wailea Gold course and absolutely loved it. My daughter-in-law and I took the baby and played in the Grand Wailea pool and had lunch while the guys played golf. Wonderful day, and the shopping there was so much fun. We couldn't quite figure out the TVs in the house in the various bedrooms, so if you decide to stay here, you might make sure you understand the technology. We didn't really care, because no one wanted to spend time watching TV much anyway. Gorgeous house, gorgeous place. Can't wait to come back!! Thank you.

The villa was excellent, except to note that there were both a dog and a cat that frequented the property during our visit and when we arrived there was animal hair all over the outdoor furniture that we had to clean off ourselves. Other than that, the villa was great. Great location and spectacular views. So convenient to everything. We look forward to working with you guys again in the future and would recommend both the villa and your service.

Majestic Maui

Day one. Check in. House is lovely. We couldn't figure out bedroom air conditioning controls. There were no specific instructions for them. we called Patty and she explained how to use them properly. We had two MIT engineers present who also could not figure it out! Next, drain in master bath bath tub not functioning - Mat tried to fix it himself, took the stopper out and looked things over. Turns out putty was needed to keep water in tub. The water fixture in the bath tub area on the ceiling wet down the entire bathroom, walls included. I moped up the whole mess with towels, only to discover that the floor in the bathroom was still dirty - unacceptable. I personally washed the bath rugs which were not clean enough for my standards. I could see the difference after I washed and dried them myself! I showed everyone the dirty towel from the bathroom floor. Tuesday. gardeners showed up, three hours of noise and disturbance, took my peaceful afternoon from us. We realize maintenance needs doing, but please, we were trying to relax the day before the wedding. I was also very ill with a lung infection. I personally went out and told the gardeners that I had spoken with Patty about no spraying at all while we were there. He told me there were no pesticides, only herbicides, I repeated my statement "NO SPRAYING WHILE WE WERE HERE". We called Patty again to inquire who else would be showing up here to work and disturb our peace. She explained this was it. Wednesday, day of wedding. My daughter is getting dressed here at our house. To my amazement, the gardeners are back again, they appear to be doing work next door, but using our yard to carry the debris, we now realize that both houses belong to the same owners. They have already spayed their "herbicide" in the front and on the side out the house, near our open bedroom windows! We are outraged! Patty is called again. Next, pool people show up. Air conditioner expert will also come out since one of the bedrooms still has an issue. At this point we begin to wonder just how "private" this rental really is. After returning from the wedding, exhausted, we are woken up at 2 am, the pool vacuum is making a loud bubbly sound the noise is keeping us up. Mat gets out of bed and spends 30 minutes outside fixing it so we can sleep. He said he was happy he didn't have to get into the pool to do this. Apparently, the pool folks didn't hook things up properly. Thursday, gate is stuck open, Patty called, not to worry "we've had problems with it in the past. We could say that these were all small inconvenient disturbances, but given the fact that we had a wedding to attend, paired with my strep lung infection, these things could have been prevented. Yes, the home is lovely, but I would not recommend it to our friends who will be on Maui in July for a family gathering given the above experiences. A few bars of soap would have been welcome - a box of soap at Costco us under $20.00! Guess we should be grateful, the house our friends rented had zero screens on the door - can't even imagine what these owners are thinking? As a group, we decided to not spend our hard earned money in Hawaii in the future. My advice about staying at this home is this: this is a lovely home, just know if you are skinny- dipping, or having a romantic private moment that this home is not for you, your privacy is not respected here! Know that you could be invaded by pool people, gardeners, workmen and people spraying all while you are trying to relax, they show up completely unannounced. I feel these owners should schedule these maintenance items while the renters are not present to ensure their privacy. If this cannot be accomplished, then at least inform them ahead of time, disclosure is better than disappointment. Patty and her husband were wonderful and extremely helpful given these circumstances. We are grateful for her patience and compassion. Mahalo again Patty!

Majestic Maui

What I liked best about the unit I rented was everything!! It was the most beautiful, relaxing vacation we have ever taken. From the view, to the rainbows, to the stars, to the beautiful rooms and decor, to the outdoor/indoor living, to the weather, to the Apple TV music and movies, it all added to the best vacation ever! Thank you for all the touches!
