This house is awsome! The view and the privacy of the property was awsome. The town that the house was located in was really neat and we enjoyed the local eatery "The fish house". The locals were very friendly and helpful, but mostly it was an awsome time in an awsome place! I would definately recommend this vacation to anyone!

The only disappointing experience we had at the Beachcomber Cottage was having to leave it. Our stay was absolutely wonderful with very attentive and friendly service. The location was very convenient and having the beach at our doorsteps was just about perfect. On top of that the weather was better than anyone could expect. I would like to thank all who played a role in making this a dream vacation.

The unit was in a wonderful location on Maui -- we truly enjoyed the solitude of the area and the ambiance of Paia. We couldn't have asked for a better location. For those who want to work out on their vacation, I would suggest that you give them some options as to health clubs and/or nearby areas where they can walk, run, etc. We were about a mile out of Piai and the highway wasn't conducive to walking. Our beach was too small to promote walking.

Customer service was fine --- I would encourage maid service at least once per week. For the money, it should be included.

When promoting this property, please be specific that although it's close to Kihei, it is definitely MUCH quieter than Lahaina, Kihei, etc. so they don't think they're going to the active side of Maui.

We enjoyed our stay very much --- the property is starting to age around the edges and needs some attention in some of the "not so obvious" areas, e.g. grouting, replacing items that are rusting and aging (e.g. faucets, commodes, etc). These did not significantly detract, but they are the kind of things you watch for when paying as much as Hawaaiian Beach Rentals was asking.

On the whole, we would definitely look at coming back sometime in the future.

Seabreeze Villa was very nice, large and comfortable. With three adult couples it provided both together time plus plenty of areas to enjoy just as couples. The best part was the homes oceanfront location which had a protected beach area and was two houses away from one of Hawaii's best restaraunts, Mama's Fish House.

The view from this home is spectacular and the town of Paia is quaint and unique. However, the upkeep and the person on sight to manage it do not do an adequate job for the price. The pool was never cleaned during our visit and was unusable. We had to call to have the house sprayed for roaches (inside and out) and then asked to have the 20-30 of them swept up - it never happened. The dishwasher didn't work properly, nor did the dryer, the spa and simple repairs like the front door handle coming off in your hand every time you used it could easily be done to make it acceptable. The furnishings are nice and the home certainly spacious, but with a large family with young kids, like ours, a properly working dishwasher and clothes dryer are a must. We planned on being able to use the pool while we were there, but because of dead insects annd just debris that needed to be scrubbed on the bottom, we could not. It has great potential, but if it continues to rent as it is, it will surely disappoint future renters. The reason I gave it 2 stars was because of the view, which is spectacular and the ease of getting to the calm bay just behind the house and the spaciousness of the home. It, however, is in disrepair. Sadly, there are too many "little" things to list, but they add up. Unless they get a more consciencious caretaker and make some of the needed repairs, I would not recommend this property - not even with the discount we recieved becaused we booked last minute. We actually stayed an additional 5 days in Maui and didn't even check to see if the house was available, but rather just booked elsewhere. It is a shame, but it is clearly neglected and unclean.
