ALOHArnWE LOVED KAANAPALI ALI 1705...BUT A FEW UPDATES NEED TO BE MADE TO MAKE IT EVEN BETTER. 1. THE FREEZER NEEDS REPAIR...STOPPED WORKING A FEW TIMES ON US.rnrn2. THE BATHROOMS NEED TO BE CLEANED MUCH BETTER....KINDA GROSS! 3. WALLS OF CONDO WERE DIRTY AND DIRTY HANDPRINTS ALL OVERDOORS...WHICH I CLEANED.rnrn4. MOLDY TRASH BAG IN TRASH CAN UPON OUR ARRIVAL.rnrn5. CONDO HAD A THICK LAYER OF DUST ON SOME OF THE FURNITURE... I AM ALLEGERIC TO DUST! 6. PAINT IN TWIN BEDROOM IS PEELING OFF THE WALLS.rnrn7. NEEDS MORE KITCHEN SUPPLIES. 8. I USED A CALLING CARD BUT WAS STILL CHARGED .75 CENTS JUST TO PICK UP THE PHONE...THAT IS WRONG! 9. PLANTER ON LANI NEEDS TO BE CLEANED OUT OF ALL CIG BUTTS AND TRASH....NOT NICE TO LOOK AT.rnrn10. TWIN BED MATTRESSES ARE HORRIBLE TO SLEEP ON....VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. MASTER ROOM OK!

This unit was outdated with old appliances and inadequate air conditioning. The AC unit was in the master bathroom and had to be kept on at all times to cool the bedroom. This made the bathroom feel like being in a freezer. The kitchen needs an overhaul with new appliances. The grounds at the Puamana are great with lots of space for the kids to run around. Their is not much of a swimming beach, but Kapalua and Kaanapali are just 10-15 minutes up the highway and are some of the best beaches in Maui for snorkeling. I would check out any condo in Puamana carefully, since there is a wide variation in the conditions of the condo units. Overall we would stay at the Puamana again, just not in this condo

This Puamana condo looked recently updated and very nicely done. The grounds are lovely. They had a nice residential feel instead of being in a high rise condo. We love the big mango trees by the clubhouse and had fresh mangos every day. There's not much of a beach if you would like to swim or simply walk, but there is good surfing or boogie boarding. This unit had three AC units which is important during the late spring and summer when things get hot and humid in Maui. Not all condo in Puamana are remodeled, have AC units or washer/dryers. We would stay in this one anytime.

Great place and great location! Close to all the comforts of home, but far enough away from tourist clutter. Beautiful views of mountains and other islands. Truly a dream lived. We all loved our stay at Puamana and are already planning for next time. Thank you!!!!!

The setting was beautiful and we all enjoyed the lanai. Unit was well stocked. The bicycles were an unexpected bonus. On the negative side, the proximity of the highway resulted in significant road noise, particularly in the two highway-side bedrooms. Also, we could not get the two highway-side bedrooms cooled below mid 80 temps--too hot to sleep comfortably.
