My Waii Beach Cottage - We enjoyed everything MyWaii had to offer...the privacy, spacious & comfortable accomodations, the VIEW, convenient walk to stores, the beach, etc. We were fortunate to meet the gracious owners who were next door in the main house during our visit. The best part was waking up to the sound of birds and the ocena, pouring a cup of coffee and walking outside to watch whales and surfers from our porch! I also enjoyed reading decades of log books written by others who have stayed in this magical cottage by the sea! Great stories! My advice to others staying in this unit would be to pack lightly - everything you need is provided or easily obtainable. Excellent sushi can be bought at the grocery store down the street. Next time we come to My Waii we are looking forward to taking a snorkling trip to Molikini. Thank you very much - we hope to be back soon!

Napili Kai Hale - This is a wonderful light filled house with incredible ocean front views. The house is very comfortable with a nice kitchen for multiple cooks and open to the living area so cooks can still talk to the other guests. The Master Bedroom has a spectacular ocean view and easy to operate light blocking electric shades. The master bath has no door closing off the bedroom but is large enough that privacy is OK. The furnishings are very comfortable but somewhat worn. All the mattresses are comfotable and in good condition.
The house does have some maintenance issues with the electrical system. There is no working lighting for the back yard which limits outside dining and entertainment to the daylight hours. While we were guests one circuit breaker needed to be re-set atleast once a day and we could not locate the over-load situation. We did not use the central air conditioning because the ceiling fans were very adequate (but one was broken).
The beach is easily accessible down concrete steps at the beach wall. BUT do not expect to play on the beach at this house. The beach is very small and mostly rocks. Only very good swimmers should think about entering the water from the beach at this house because of the rocks, surf and tide.
The house is located on a very nice street of well maintained homes. The Kanapali Resort area is 5 - 10 minutes drive and Lahina is 10 minutes away. There is a medium size but well stocked grocery store very close to the house. The street has no thru traffic and almost no park and walk traffic because the beach access trail is small and leads to a rocky point which is only used by a few local fisherman.
I enjoyed my time at the house and would not hesitate to rent it again in the future.

Lahaina Jewel - There were 7 of us on this trip and we had a great time. The house was the perfect size and we definatly enjoyed our own pool and hot tub at the the house. It was also a great location within walking distance to all the shopping and resturants in Lahaina. We would have loved to stay at least another week! We hope to be able to come bakc soon.

The Whaler 519 - The unit was well planned out with climate control in both main rooms and a nice kitchen.The size was comfortable for a family of 4.The location of the unit to laundry was nice. The only draw back was the elevator noise but you get to where you do not notice.The location of the The Whaler next to Whalers Village is very positive with shopping and dining within a easy walk.Black Rock offers snorkeling a short distance away.Also you can walk off the beach on to a waitng boat for a excellent snorkeling adventure.It is also a very short distance to drive to Lahaina for all it has to offer.Do not forget to Drive North on Highway 30 for Great views of the Pacific.

Monkey Business Maui- Kihei Bay Surf 135 - The best advice we can give is to definately snuba at turtle town and not Molokini.

Koa Lagoon 105 - This was just what my husband and I wanted. Something cute and quaint right on the beach! We will definitely be coming back with our kids next time though.

Koa Lagoon 602 - We really enjoyed our stay at 602 Koa Lagoon. The view was wonderful and being on the top floor was great! The unit was very well equiped and we had everything we needed. Though it hadn't been updated in a while, it was very clean and pleasant. For sure we would stay there again. Kathy Becker

Wailea Elua 2303 - The grounds crew at Wailea Elua was in an almost constant state of noisy trimming, blowing and mowing. At times it was so bad we neede to close the windows and doors. The street noise added to it and spoiled the feeling of peaceful Hawaii.

I would suggest when you are renting condos there that the renters would be told about location in regard to the street and ocean. we expected to be closer to the ocean and had no idea that so many condos had been built up to the street.

Wailea Elua 2002 - It was a very comfortable and pleasing decor and equipment. The disappointing thing was that it is so close to the street which meant lots of street noise.

Puamana 35-3 - Puamana is a wonderful place, reserved and quiet. The unit we had with three teenagers was great. The only think missing in that unit was a view of the ocean and a good lanai. Wonderful trip. We will be back in Maui at Puamana.
