to find the perfect Maui vacation.
Koa Lagoon 205 - The condo was conveniently located near the beach, stores, restaurants, tennis courts, etc. Kihei was a great starting point for exploration of Maui and the condos were a nice peaceful place to return to after a day of exploring. Condo was furnished comfortably with a few surprise extras that made moving in very easy. We will be planning a return trip.

Kauhale Makai-Village By the Sea - What I liked about the unit was that the unit has a collection of beach-fun articles, such as: straw mat, bucket, shovel, etc. Although unused by us, it was a friendly gesture that would have provided convenience to the guests' stay. This friendliness was greatly appreciated.
Some suggestions for improvements:
a. The dining table top had some circular marks that appeared to have been there due to previous guests' wet glasses. I would suggest that those marks be somehow cleaned to improve the unit appearance.
b. We found the fold-out queen bed uncomfortable. Instead of sleeping on the bed, we slept on the couch. My 11-old child slept on the floor on the couch cushions. It worked for us, but, a little awkward.
Hale Kihei - Hale Kihei was a great house for a family of 5 - lots of room. The 2 bedrooms are modest size, but lots of room in the living area and kitchen. There was plentiful comfortable seating for the whole family to sit around either inside or outside while enjoying the evenings. We enjoyed a leisurely paced week on Maui. We did just one tourist adventure each day and tried to be back to the house by mid to late afternoon so that we could enjoy a few hours on the nearby beach. The walk to the beach is just 30 yards or so along the side of the house in front of this one to a public sidewalk and steps that take you down to the beach. It is very convenient. After swimming, the house has an outside shower and hose to get the sand off before going inside. The Lanai (us mainlanders would call this a deck) is mostly covered. We enjoyed time here in the cool of the morning while eating breakfast and in the evening watching the sun go down. One of our best photographs was a sunset picture from this vantage point. While there is a house between this one and the ocean that blocks some of the view, there is still nice partial view to the beach and ocean. From the Lanai you can actually see over the top of adjacent house to the ocean off shore. The house came with a grill that was in good condition and made some great hamburgers for us. While this house did not have internet service, I was able to find unsecured wireless from somewhere. I particularly enjoyed checking my email early in the morning from the deck on the street side of the house while watching the sun come up over mount Haleakala. The only negative to this house we experienced was the floor (which is tile throughout) was not clean. It did not have visible dirt, but just a few steps in socks would turn the bottoms black. We quickly gave up the Hawaiin tradition of removing our shoes and it didn't bother us any more. Some activities that we enjoyed were: Shopping in Kihei (you can walk to a couple local shopping centers), swimming on the adjacent beach, seeing humpback whales (we went with the Pacific Whale Foundation, but also saw a couple from the beach) and walking around Lahaina. The most expensive thing we did was the Atlantis submarine out of Lahaina. It was an interesting and unique experience, but you don't see quite the reefs and fish that the advertising lead you to believe. Overall, we had a great time on Maui. If we returned we would stay in this house again.
Koa Lagoon 402 - What I liked best about the unit I rented was that it was equipped with a lot of other necessary items for example, ice chests, beach chairs and towels, fishing rod, beach umbrella and many more items to make your visit wonderful. The condo had a guest book diary that many guests had put there personal experiences on the pages which helped in making decesions around restaurants and excurisions. The best "insider tip" was the Swap Meet on Saturday mornings!

Lahaina Baby Beach Hale on Front Street - Aloha,
your house is at the perfect location, just around the corner from a wonderful and kid friendly beach. walking distance to Lahaina, which is great.
The house was almost too nice, considering the fact that we had a 10month old crawling baby, that couldn't wait to check out the beautiful Hawaiian vases, statues, etc. on the floor. The second bedroom and that bed was a little small for a couple, but the master bed suite with the jacuzzi tub was a hit.
Finding all kinds of water toys, beach towels, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, etc. was a nice surprise.
We had a wonderful time at your place and would definitely come back.

Lahaina Shores Penthouse 3 - Another great vacation on Maui in beatuful Penthouse 3 at Lahaina Shores.
We always enjoy our vacations there and come all the way from England to do that. Its worth every mile of the trip!.
Thank you for everything.
You must go to Lanai on your trip. Very easy to get the ferry down the street at the Pioneer Inn and the trip is great...we saw over 20 Dolphins as we entered Lanai harbour...just magical. And you can easily spend a lovely day on the beach on Lanai...be sure to have lunch at Four Seasons Manele Bay or at the Golf Club House at the Golf Course. The Fish and Chips are highly recommended!!!
