Really enjoyed feeling at home in this beautiful but really comfortable house (actually--half of a duplex).
Enjoyed Hawaiian music CD's and books that were there for us.
The front bedroom/bathroom is exquisite beyond expectations.
The other 3 bedrooms are much smaller, have no view, and can be noisy from the numerous neighbors.
This is not a place to enjoy a beach and swimming (like Kailua). The beach is tide-dependent. The coral is shallow and painful to get around. It was VERY cool to see humuhumunukunukuaua'a (trigger fish) swimming between the coral from the yard.
There was a lack of communication given that our booking agent said it was not a duplex, and we were given the name and number of a person to call to let us in. But, after several hours, it turned out he did not work there any more. We had forwarded our flight information, but that was not received and the house was not ready anyways.
