It was a spacious unit, everything was in order when I arrived. Enjoyed eating at the Vegetarian restaurant on main street Haleiwa also the coffee shop near market place had great coffee. My advice to someone staying at this unit bring your computer internet service is fantastic. The roosters in Haleiwa add character but make a noise so bring ear plugs. Within walking distance to both a calm beach and a beach with waves. North shore is a great place to visit.

Great location for walking into town or across the street to watch the surf competition, but on a fairly busy and noisy road. We enjoyed eating the fresh local catch at Haleiwa Joe's a couple of nights. Lots of noisy roosters day and night - and early morning!! Enjoyed the Waialua Coffee tour (if you ask they'll take you outside and explain the coffee and chocolate bean growing and processing). Banzai Pipeline surfers were awesome! It's worth driving up to the Pu'uomahuka Heiau just north of Waimea Valley.

Great location, but not as close to the "beach" as some literature seemed to indicate...Very clean and well cared for by neighbors Earl, Marie and Lisa...located on curve on main two lane, sometimes made it hard to back out of driveway due traffic and line of sight. Lots of chickens around, and roosters crow way before dawn - not great for light sleepers. Kitchen faucet still hard to control volume despite previous critical writeups...back patio has several holes and tears in screening, allowing for bugs when fruit trays or food is on patio. Saw a marlin at Haleiwa marina/harbor across street that was caught after a 3 hour battle. Walk to town, local shopping all within walking distance,,,lots of places to eat,,,best were the "shrimp buses" - 3 great ones in town, best was 2 blocks away next to gas station...great food. During heat of day (85 to 90 degrees) was diffficult to keep house cool with the 3 window units, but nights were comfortable, no air needed,,,cable tv and wi fi...not all the channels on the tv giude channel were actually availabe,,a listing of operating channels would have been appreciated....Easy drive to most of the north shore beaches and sights like Waimea....My daughter and grandkids really had a great time and we would consider a return trip.
