What we liked best about this unit was the view and the accessibility to everything. Very easy to get on and off the freeways and get to all the places we needed to be within a short time. The best restaurant we found was the South Shore Grill for lunch. Loved the fish tacos. The list of restaurants left in the unit was very helpful. We went to a couple of the listing and they were all good. Also the advice for things to do and what was nearby.

This is a great place to stay away from the typical tourist areas and yet convenient to everything.
John N., Santa Rosa Valley, CA, 4.25.09
Turtle Bay Ocean Villas was terrific! The condo was beautiful - clean, complete with everything we needed to enjoy our stay, and a fabulous location. We thoroughly enjoyed eating at Ola's (on the beach at Turtle Bay) and at Lei Lei's (on the golf course at Turtle Bay Resort). Both restaurants were excellent and we walked to each from our condo. We found snorkling in Turtle Bay to be a bit boring, but Shark's Cove is not to be missed! Our two most favorite adventures were learning to surf (lessons provided at Turtle Bay Resort) and the 40 minute helicopter tour of North Shore Oahu (helo pad within walking distance of the condo). It is worth the trip to Pearl Harbor for the Arizona Memorial. Based on the feedback we got from the locals, we passed on visiting the Polynisian Cultural Center and believe we made the right decision. All in all, this was one of the best family vacations we have taken!
Bud M., Los Altos, CA, 7.28.08
Great location; nicely furnished; beautiful ocean front property; friendly staff; good restaurant on site with reasonable prices!
Norman E., Livermore, CA, 7.10.08
great location. service was good. Very nice staff everywhere we went - thank you! not sure on the restaurant. Unit was very basic but good. I think it would be important for people to know that the bedroom uses sliding doors that don't close completely. It was a nice feature in that the whole wall slides away and makes for a very nice room/living room, but does not give you a complete sense of privacy. The construction was a bummer - but necessary I'm sure. Loved going to the Shorebird at the Outrigger. Loved that everything was just a short walk away, beach, restaurants and entertainment. Ashley did a great job - thank you for your help.
Chris A., Yorba linda, Ca, 6.2.08
The best part of our trip was the pleasure of being at Pua O Lanikia. And the people who make it all possible are the best. Thank you for making a dream come true. We are having a fantastic time.
Jay R., Philadelphia, PA, 5.23.08
The customer service I received was superb, we will call her back for future Hawaii plans.
Adrian P., , , 4.8.08
There was no problem with Hawaiian Beach Rental, but my agent did not provide much information about the condo I was booking, and just seemed most interested in making the sale, rather than on the quality of my experience. I was disappointed in Kaanapali Shores, and would not recommend it to others. It was dingy, outdated, and in a poor location. My fault, I suppose, for not researching it better, but what are booking agents for? Otherwise, in terms of the transaction, the mechanics were seamless.
Ethan F., Salt Lake City, Ut, 3.25.08
The customer service was great. Lawrence at the front desk was friendly and helpful with directions with driving. I would stay again!!!
Jeanne D., Palmer, AK, 3.13.08
The Kitchenette room we had at the Ohana Waikiki West hotel was somewhat small but had all the amenities we required. We were on the 15th floor with a view of the ocean. Due to the fact we were high up there was not very much noise, however, if we were one of the lower floors I would expect it would have been much noisier. The bathroom was very small but had one of the best showers (power) we have experienced. The safe in the room was much appreciated and well used. Upon check-in we were given a package which included a hat, a visor hat and a beach bag. The fact that our hotel card allowed us to travel free on the 'Pink Line' buses was much appreciated and well used during our stay. The customer service I received was very good. The best restaurant we found was 'The Cheesecake Factory'. I would recommend the Pearl Harbor Stars & Stripes Tour as one tour to take.
Earl Y., Saskatoon, SK Canada, 3.5.08
What I liked best about the unit I rented was View The customer service I received was Absolutely Wonderful The best part of my trip was Driving to southpoint and going to Green Sands Beach The best restaurant I found was The Grille at Fairmont The best picture I took was of me (us) our scuba dive I can't wait to tell all my friends that My advice to someone else staying at this unit would be The part of my trip I would definitely recommend to others is The best "insider tip" I received while on my trip was I didn't have time this trip, but next trip to Hawaii I'm looking forward to
Mick M., Calgary, Alberta, 2.28.08
The view for our unit was amazing, and the location was great for access to the beach and bars. I would say that the restaurant in the hotel was not great, but there were so many other great places to go it didn't matter. You can't take a bad picture anywhere on the beach or touring around, so it makes for a great place for photographers, amateur or otherwise. I highly recommend taking the Circle Island tour - it really orients you for good places to go back to on your own. Do it early in your trip. Next trip I'll want to visit some other islands as well. Enjoy! J
Jay D., Chicago, IL, 2.25.08
Location is good, make sure your unit doesn't face the the highway. The maid service was terrible, towels not replaced, coffee not replaced, Front desk and parking attendant were friendly. Bathroom needs more towel hangers. The make you pay $15.00 for parking. Street parking is limited.
Curt L., Laguna Beach, CA, 2.20.08
WE WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED - FACILITIES WERE EXCELLENT AND GREAT LOCATION. AN EXCELLENT VALUE AND BOOKING AGENT WAS EXTEMELY PLEASANT AND KNOWLEDGABLE. OUR DAUGHTER AND HER HUSBAND STAYED THERE 16 YEARS AGO ON THEIR HONEYMOON AS DID OUR NEPHEW AND HIS WIFE 5 YEARS AGO. ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THE GUY WHO CHECKED US IN - IT WAS 3 AM OUR TIME AND WE WERE TIRED, SO MAYBE IT WAS US, BUT HE WASN'T EVEN CLOSE TO BEING FRIENDLY. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE
Jonette R., Collierville, TN, 2.10.08
Maui Kai was great, nothing wrong with the room however I thought I was renting somthing much larger. It felt like a nice hotel room but I thought I was renting somthing that would feel more like an apartment you would live in as a home with multible rooms. I never used the term multible rooms so that was partially my fault but I was told it was a Condo that was someones home so the impression felt like it would be large in addition I was asking about house rentals as an option mainly. Also my car reservations were suposed to be set up for getting my car at the Airport but when I got there they said my reservations had been made ae an office on the other side of the island. The manager gave the OK to rent me a car from the airport lot so it worked out in the end but I did have to pay an extra $10 a day since their prices are higher at that location. But that was the location I needed the car from so it was a cost I would have had to pay any way but it came as a suprise and made me wish I has called Budget myself to make the reservation. All and all it was a good trip outside of those two items and again let me say the Maui Kai is a Beutiful place and I give five stars to the Maui Kai as a hotel, its just I thought I was getting somthing larger. My wife loved the room, and the view was great, thats the important thing. I also want to complement your represenative, even with the two mix-ups things like that happen and she was a great person to work with and very informative. next time I'll just be sure to say I want a separate room for dinning, and a separate living room etc in my rental Thank you for your survice and for the chance to give input. Alan

Puunoa Beach Estates is Fantastic. We set out on our lanai, and watched the boats and the whales. Even though the weather wasn't great, we still had the time of our lives. The location was a big factor for us, as it is close to Lahaina. The staff was absolutley fantastic and very helpful. We really enjoyed watching the whales breach right out front of the units. We all enjoyed the good eats in town, our favorite was probably Kimo's and Bubba Gumps. I would recommend these units to anyone who likes to be close to all the action in Lahaina, yet it is still only a short drive to Maelea and the airport. But most of all these units are homes, not hotels. We can't wait to return, as we so love the islands, but Puunoa Beach Estates made it even better, if you can believe that. We recommend that everyone goes out on a boat, whale watching or fishing, just get out on that water. Aloha
Don B., Grants Pass, Oregon, 2.1.08
I wish I knew that I had to book hotels/rooms more than two months ahead of time during the Christmas/New years week. I did not have many choices. Although the weather was not the best, there were couple of days that alloweed for nice snorkeling at Huanama Bay

The rental agent Ashley was very good. She was very helpful and courteous. The lady in accounting was quite the opposite, Can't remmber her name however. Thanks Ray Alvey
Ray A., Greensboro, Georgia, 1.3.08
The unit was well furnished, ver modern and we loved how the windows opened up so we could sleep to the sound of the surf. The customer service was amazing - everything you (Sion and Jody) arranged for us turned out well. The best part of the trip was having my family with me on such a beautiful island. The food was good and the Xmas dinner at the Princeville hotel, that you recommended, was fabulous. A great variety of seafood and other goodies. We tried to eat somehwhere different every day to sample different things but we did end up at Bubba burgers twice as we really enjoyed the burgers. The best pictures we took was the bottlenose dolphins following the boat we were on up around the Napoli (I hoped I spelled this correct) coast. I can't wait to tell my friends that we seen bottlenose and spinner dolphins, turtles, humpback whales and monk seals all on one trip. We booked a trip to do some snorkelling but due to weather patterns and waves we were unable to do this so next time I am in Hawaii we will definately do this. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this unit to anyone. We are not great cooks so did not really use the kitchen at all but we did keep the fridge well stocked with beverages. Thank you again for all of your help! Tracy,Stan, Tawny & Dustin Wadden
Tracy W., Cochrane, Alberta, 1.1.08
The unit is large and had been recently updated, so everything was fresh. There was a nice view on the lanai with the valley and downtown Honolulu and the ocean. For a family of 4, we had plenty of space in the living areas - both indoors and out. A grill on the lanai was a nice treat! The information provided in the unit was helpful with tips for local restaurants and things to do. The unit was challenging to be in with a 3 year old child, as the carpets are nearly white, and the sink in the only bathroom is at an usually high level - the countertop is 4 feet high with the sink bowl on top of the counter is 4 1/2 feet high - even with a step stool it was difficult for the 3 year old to wash up for bed. The unit is also the top floor of a house - the steps up tot he unit were challenging for the 3 year old to navigate as well. Parking was tricky in a carport on a street with cars traveling by quickly. A 4 door Jeep Wrangler was a tight fit in the carport, with doors hitting the stone walls of the carport. Smaller cars would be less of a problem. The unit is not situated in an area where one can step outside the door and take a walk or jog - there are no sidewalks in this part of the neighborhood, and cars travel quickly to get "up the hill". There is laundry available on-site - but it is coin operated and shared with other units in the house. If you're looking for a place to rest your head and spend most of your waking time exploring Oahu, the unit would be fine. We loved our stay in Honolulu, enjoying the beaches and the weather. We got to do so many wonderful things and see such beautiful scenery. The beaches on the North Shore were fabulous and less crowded than the Waikiki beaches. Our favorite place to eat was the Harbor Pub in Waikiki. Get the #2 pizza. And eat the pineapple where ever you are - it's so much better than the pineapple on the mainland. Aloha
Anne L., Highland Park, IL, 12.31.07
I have been there before and had a great time along with the rest of my family. Thank you
Danelle O., Ortonville, Michigan, 12.30.07
Our only disappointment was the Swan Court restaurant for dinner at the Hyatt Regency. Dinner was only mediocre and service was not very good as it is an incredibly large restaurant to staff to service. Otherwise, the hotel, people and three bedroom suite we had were superb. Would recommend it to anyone.
Robert B., Newport Beach, Ca., 12.27.07
I liked the spaciousness, cleanness and location of my unit. The staff arranged our transportation, and were helpful answering our questions. Excellent restaurants at the "Outrigger" and "Royal Hawaiian" hotels. Amazing waves at Waikii Beach, easy to surf.
Matt N., Vancouver, WA, 10.24.07
The photos that were provided online looked nothing like the hotel. The exterior of the hotel was very nice, but inside smelled of mold and must. Our view was of a rooftop which was covered in garbage to include used condoms. The atmosphere was VERY hot and it took 18 hours for the air conditioner to actually get the room cool. I have to say that I have stayed in a lot of places on the island of Oahu, and although this hotel has made it to my top ten worst hotel stays, the people were by far the friendliest I have ever come in contact with.
Amy C., Alcoa, TN, 10.2.07
What I liked best about the unit I rented was that it was desiged in a thoughtful way that anticipated needs, convenience and comfort. It was well maintained, tastefully decorated and had a beautiful view. It was also conveniently located near the beach and restaurants. The best part of my trip was hanging out at the beach and snorkeling. We tried 2 of the restaurants on the premises (not the sushi restaurant) and found the food very good. The best picture I took was of us celebrating our 1st anniversary having a surprise bottle of wine from my family. I can't wait to tell all my friends that this hotel, beach and the amenities were were fantastic. My advice to someone else staying in this unit would be to find out if there are any events planned because it will be directly overhead and if the music is not to your taste, it is really annoying especially if you thought you were going to listen to the ocean of planned to go to bed before 11. The part of my trip I would definitely recommend to others is the helicopter over the volcano and the botanical garden in the rain forest near Hilo. The best "insider tip" I received while on my trip was where to see ancient hula performed. I didn't have time this trip, but next trip to Hawaii I'm looking forward to playing with the dolphins.
Nova Starling B., Livermore, CA, 10.1.07
What I liked best about the unit is it's own private bathrooms and Lanai for each bedroom. IT WAS NICE AND QUIET TOO. Jody Lyon the agent was very helpful and extensive in trying to accomodate my families needs Much Thanks to her.

We where told that we recieved a "upgrade" but we where put on the floor with the restaurant and we faced the alley. I don't know where we where supposed to be but I don't what the "upgrade" was. Your services where great !

I reserved and paid for a unit with a king bed but got a unit with a queen. Was told that you get what is available at check in time which I consider poor business and would not book with them again. There is no parking unless you pay $11 a day which was not mentioned during booking process. Need to include better information including driving directions etc. Mahalo, Susan Wolford

rnRe. Vista Wiakoloa B101rnrnThe unit was very spacious, very clean and the furnishings were a credit to the owners. The large pool was only 20 yards away and included a hot tub and jacuzzi. The staff were very helpful and the tourist guy Bill was more than helpful and guided us to rnall the local beaches and entertainment. We saw and took photos of turtles on the beach and a 5 minute walk away we watched dolphins play for free. We would recommend this unit to anyone. What else can I say but a big thank you.rnrnJerry & Family
Jerry C., Irthlingborough, Northants, 8.7.07
Rental unit was very nice but updated online info would have been helpful: unit does have DVD/video/CD player, internet access, indoor ceiling fans but none of these are listed on the rental info. We also found 3 beach chairs, floating rafts and sand toys which we used during our visit. Air conditioning would be a great bonus as well as ceiling fans on the lanai to help keep pesty mosquitoes away. Anini beach was very relaxing, and the rocks on the beach and swings offered some fun to our little ones. The light at sundown helped us take some great photos. Babba's burgers were yummy - a good option after a long day of terrific snorkeling at Ke'e or Tunnels beaches. If you want to see Hideaways beach, consider kayaking instead of hiking. PS - Tropical Tacos were way overrated and too expensive.
Coryn A., Seal Beach, CA, 8.5.07
The hotel was very clean and wonderful for our tight budget with three kids. The service was wonderful and we would recommend this to our friends. The best service and price for food was at Cha Cha Cha mexican restaurant. Thank you Aston Prince Hotel for the wonderful service.rnrnA. of California
Andrea F., San Jose, California, 8.1.07
The location was great. Just three blocks from the beach. We were seven floors up, so it was relatively quiet. The staff was very friendly. The unit was old but clean, and attended to daily. The kitchen is old fashioned but workable. We mostly used the refer and freezer for breakfast and lunch foods. The air conditioner worked well and kept the outside noise from being annoying. We got a parking spot after the first night. The price was right. We would stay here again.
Pam R., Portland, Oregon, 7.27.07
what i liked best about the rental was its location. the customer service was excellent, especially in the booking of the apartment. The ease with which the booking was made was exceptional especially when the fact that it was booked from the other side of the world was taken into consideration. The best part of my trip was the evening's when having returned from a day's activities we could sit on the balcony and watch the beach and the sunset. I cant wait to encourage all my friends to visit and would recommend to all that are travelling to Hawaii that they stay in an apartment in this hotel and book through your site. On my next trip to Hawaii I am looking forward to visiting some of the other islands. rnrnThank you for making our holiday in Hawaii an experience that we will never forget!
Carmel U., Roscrea, Co Tipperary, 7.26.07
The Kona Bali Kai is an older facility on Alii Drive. Although the furnishings and linens have seen better days, it was clean, and the view was spectacular. We had an ocean front 4th floor 2 bdrm unit. We enjoyed watching the sea turtles right below swimming in the pools made by lava rock. And the sunsets were great!
Pam B., Mohave Valley, AZ, 7.16.07
The elevators were very poor. Would have to wait an average of about 20 mins and there were 1 or 2 elevators that were not working most of the time.
Paige G., , , 7.16.07
The room was beautiful; however, the construction on the balconies for 3 or 4 days was very disturbing. We were not aware of the construction activity. Absent the construction activity, everything was great.
Kevin P., Arlington, VA, 7.15.07
hotel was very central, staff friendly, good value for money paid, rooms would have been more appealing with greater detail to cleaning such as skirting boards and freshening up of some paintwork but for the money it was good. loved honolulu but wasnt there long enough to comment in more detail.
Kerrie B., Violet Town, Victoria, 7.13.07
Wonderful hospitality!
Jason H., , , 12.11.06
The hotel was pretty gross. Looked like a dorm room.
Eric J., , , 12.7.06
Had a great time. Only thing I would suggest is that no one told us how to get to the beach from the condos. We thought you had to go thru the hotel each time and didn't know there was a direct gate to the beach. Also, no one explained the security tag on the key chain and to use the elevator you had to hold it to the floor pad in the elevator. This was true with everyone new, because we had to explain it to others. There is some kind of animosity going on between Outrigger and Castle and one won't help customers of the other-----NOT Good!!! We will be back, now that we know the INS and OUTS of the place. Loved it!! Dianne Lowe/Jim Lowe
James L., , , 12.5.06
Far bigger, better and nicer than we ever expected. We would like to stay in this unit at the Sands again. There was more than enough room. Beautiful view of beach and pool area. Sunsets were great. Only a few minor problems, The refrigerator didn't work properly, wouldn't keep our food cold, so we had to use the ice chest. The nob on the dryer was broken. The condo was really a pleasant treat and we enjoyed it!!!!
Deanna B., , , 11.30.06
The room and services provided was excellent. I would highly recommend this condo to my friends and family.
Maudie R., , , 11.14.06
The view was spectacular from this condo; however, we were very disappointed at the temperature inside it. We were assured by the representative at All About Hawaii that air conditioning wasn't necessary. It was miserably hot & the locals told us that it had been above average temperatures for the last 2 months.
Denise M., , , 11.12.06
Got to my $768 condo that was booked with the incorrect dates and tried to change to find out Peg & Jen from your office cancelled my reservation myout my authority and ended upbeing surcharged $256.00 penatly for a reservation I never used. I will never use your services again and I will also tell everyone else about my experience.

It rained five out of seven days in Maui. The Maui Palm Cottage Rental was a great place to escape the frequent downpours. Thank you!
Heather D., , , 11.7.06
The 2 bedroom originally rented was not very well kept or clean and the size was very, very small. We called to get some support from your company but we were turned away because only 1 person handles this type of account and no-one else could help on Thursday morning. No customer support was provided at all. We upgraded our stay to make the trip more enjoyable with more room available.
Craig D., , , 10.19.06
We had a great time and our accommodations werernwonderful. We were there during the earthquake andrnour hosts were awesome. Brenden, Tracy and Jennifer were so helpful even brewing us coffee usingrnan outdoor grill and blow torch to heat coffee. We'llrndefinately recommend this studio to our friends and rnhope to come back again.

Sheraton Wikki Hotel is a great place to stay, they treat you very will and extend all the services they offer to all guests (Manor Wings Guests Also ). When we arrived early in the AM our room was already available so we had a full day of fun without waiting for our room to be ready later in the day. Also on our day of departure which was very late in the evening of the last day we wre able to get a late check out and them were offered the use of the hospitlity room and they stored our luggage until we were ready to leave. Thanks we look forward to booking with you again.

The setting is spectacular, but the building is getting a little old - cupboards don't shut, etc., - no big deal.
Don K., , , 9.26.06
14 kids at a pool party are way too many! All othersrnhad to leave! Staff was all friendly and helpful. Unit was quite nice.
Clair B., , , 9.25.06
We stayed in the Marc Suites hotel on Lewers. It appealed to us due to the 2 bedroom suite and the pool. The hotel is very old. The room had several huge cockroaches, pealing paint in shower and on doors and walls, very uncomfortable beds and a bad smell. The walls were paper thin and we could clearly hear "everything" that went on next door. No maid service periodically and poor maid service when they did come. Re-roofing of hotel made for constant noise early in the morning. Hotel charges for absolutely everything extra, including parking, ice (one lobby ice machine for entire hotel), all phone calls, etc. Shared balconies and old style sliding glass door locks made for poor security. Loose railings on 7th floor made for uncomfortable security. All in all, this hotel is in drastic need of a remodel and should be half he price or less. The hotel staff is not courteous or polite most of the time and act as though they don't care if you are there. Parking is horrible in a very tight

We had a wonderful time. The condo was very clean. It would be nice to have a screen on the front door to allow a breeze. The jacuzzi was too hot to use. It would be nice if the elevator was updated, a little dirty. Overall, great place to stay !!!!!!!!
