Kiele Lani was our Shargri La! It is a perfect spot to rest and relax, The grounds are glorious and there is plenty of outdoor living space. The flowers gardens, and unique collection of birdhouses are delightful as is the antique wooden carousel horse at the entrance to the cottage. Everything you need has been provided including barbecue tools, a great grill, a lovely lap pool, comfy outdoor space. The unit itself is fresh and comfortable. The unit has all the comforts including ac, and every kitchen amentiy you could want for small meals. The decor is very Aprille Cornell and there is so much attention to detail! Whole Foods was five minutes away--grab a hot meal there, bring it back to the cottage and you are set! Nothing is lacking at Kiele Lani if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still be seconds from Diamond Head and Waikiki. Vacation Rental handled everything perfectly and the owner of the cottage was kind and gracious. Kiele Lani is perfect.

It is a beautiful little cottage and I particularly enjoyed the outdoor space. It was very peaceful to eat outside and read by the pool in the shade.
The customer service was excellent. It was particularly nice to find some fruit, coffee and beverages upon arrival. The cottage was well appointed and very nicely decorated.
Favorite restaurant is the Diamond Head Market and Grill, nearby and inexpensive, clean, healthy food.

Kiele Lani is a quiet, peaceful place to stay! It's close enough to provide easy accessability to most all the activities one might find interesting yet far enough away to provide refuge for rest and relaxation. I most liked the lap pool and outdoor area, it was fabulous! I wish I had had more time to take full advantage of it. I hope to return and stay much longer at Kiele Lani sometime soon!

It would have been nice to have at least a 'starter' coffee kit, but even after we went to the store to get coffee, we sadly realized that there were no coffee filters, so we had to go back to the store. Not a great way to start the trip. The location of the unit is good, though, and we never even saw the 'big house' occupants. We probably would not choose this unit again, but it is not a terrible choice.

The unit is beautifully decorated and well equipped in every area. The air conditioner made the room perfectly cool when the weather was too hot for us to be comfortable. We spent many evenings out on the covered lanai enjoying the trade winds. The bar and barbecue area is very convenient for enjoying a glass of wine and barbecuing some shrimp. The neighborhood is quiet and very convenient to the highway and the Diamond Head area. We highly recommend Kiele Lani as an excellent smaller scale alternative to a condo or a hotel room. The owner is very considerate, respecting your privacy while you are there.

Location and the property itself is great. I was born and raised on Oahu and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Accomodations we very clean with super easy access and proximity to everything. The owner was very gracious and generous. The only possible improvement would be AC. Hawaii is very warm adn extremely humid so arriving home after a day in the sun it would have been great to be welcomed by AC. I understand that she is planning on putting some in and once that is done, it is a GREAT value!!!

Very quiet, beautiful and comfortable cottage. I enjoyed having the lap pool. Felt like I had the place to myself. Best part of the trip was snorkeling at Hanauma Bay and the Polynesian Cultural Center was really nice. All in all - a nice, fun vacation.

Only negatives are traffic and parking on Oahu.

Very pleasant and serene environment among multi-million dollar properties. Close to beach and activities. The owner was a terrific hostess. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Access to the property was difficult for me and the interior seating accommodations were not comfortable. Only the shower is useable. This created problems for me because of my difficulty walking and standing. The property is definately not handicapped accessible. In addition, the unit is not equipped with an alarm. I had to arrange for a wake up call from Albuquerque, NM on Monday morning. I was not aware of these weaknesses when I committed to the rental arrangement.

I concur with the previous comments. An extremely well maintained property in a neighborhood I have been familiar with for over 30 years. I know the distress of owning rental property. A big Thank You to the owner of the Kiele Lani for providing a wonderful retreat in Kahala. I look forward to visiting again...................

Beautiful, quiet and cozy place at very nice neigborhood. Very good access to major beaches, shopping mall, and restaurants. Highly recommended for matured adults who are tired of staying noisy and crowded Waikiki hotel or condominium.

This was an exquisite little cottage! Very safe, clean, quiet, relaxing home away from home. Loved the convenience of being centrally located to all the action w/out the traffic & unpredictable parking. Much respect & appreciation to the homeowner of this property for providing all the warmth and Aloha during my many visits to the Islands.

I had found that the property is meticulously maintained and the owner was a fabulous host. She tended to whatever request we may have had yet gave us the privacy to make it feel as we were the only ones on the property. Our experience was a unforgetable.
