We enjoyed our stay at the Apartment by Kailua Beach. The unit was clean an had many amenities. I was born and raised in Hawaii and now live on the mainland. I have stayed at various places and by far this was one of the best. When we walked in, we were pleasantly surprised by such a wonderful array of Island goodies, which was ono (yummy). January was a bit cool but this unit gets nice wind in Summer time.
The trip was wonderful! Weather was awesome, so scenic and beautiful. The apartment was clean, had a great view, the folks living downstairs assisted with directions and were friendly but not at all bothersome! The deck was gorgeous and they had everything on hand that one would use even in their own home! My favorite restaurant was Pinky's for their crab nachos but my favorite meal was while we visited North Shore area where we had a meal of shrimp scampi from the original white shrimp truck!
The whole family felt right at home. The apartment was clean, breezy, air conditioned and in a quiet neighborhood. This all added to the feeling of Ohana and being part of Kailua not just a visitor. The kids loved the lanai's and everything about the trip.
They especially liked the birds waking them every morning and we enjoyed the quiet evenings and nights.

We were delighted with the decor and cleanliness of the unit. We walked in and were greeted by a beautiful island floral display and a large fresh native fruit basket. The owners were very gracious and helpful. We loved dining at Lucy's, and Buzz's Steakhouse. There was not a disappointing meal in the 2 weeks we were on vacation. Astounding!
You must take time to wake up and go to Kailua Beach Park, grab a cup of excellent coffee at the market and then watch the sun come up. To see the sun rise out of the distant clouds over turquoise ocean with a breeze in your face is an experience one never forgets. It moves you...
Kailua is full of welcoming, happy people and our vacation was amazing. Even with two weeks we weren't able to see all the galleries and other sites available.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Kailua. The apartment was clean and comfortable and within an easy biking distance of the town and the beach. Barbequeing and having dinner out on the deck at night was perfect.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We loved the flower arrangments and the thoughtful welcome friut basket!
