The house had a good layout and nice space for our family. It was two blocks from the beach and very convenient to town and the main road. The people responding to our requests were prompt and gracious. The DVD player was rudimentary but all else was well supplied. We'd stay there again.

Starting from $250.00 per night. 40% down to hold a reservation. Balance due 45 days before check-in. $200.00 security deposit. $150.00 cleaning fee. 4% processing fee. Listed rates do not include tax. Holiday and peak season rates and required length of stay may be different than quoted above. Credit cards, cash, checks and wire transfers accepted. Minimum night stay varies amongst the various rental units. Many rentals have 30-night minimums.
Reviews
On the positive side, the property manager was very nice, as was the cleaning crew. Hawaiian folks are extremely hospitable. That said, the rental was a flag lot duplex unit in a sketchy neighborhood. The unit was very cluttered, yard was cluttered. The closet space was taken up with huge unused speakers. No dresser in Master bedroom. The one shelf space was filled with old bathmats and pillow covers. There were no instructions for the unit or even a simple map. The cost of the unit was high for the very low value. We've paid less for a 3 bedroom condo in Turtle Bay. I will not wait until Sept. to rent again.....

Kailua is a lovely place to stay. This home was clean and and, while only fairly near the beach, the price was fair. Service was good.
