The cottage was beautifully styled and very well set up for all of our needs. Lovely outdoor spaces for relaxing, eating and enjoying the garden. The hosts are friendly and caring but not at all intrusive (and exceedingly tolerant of our children!). I would highly recommend Blue Ginger.

The Blue Ginger is an outstanding rental - clean, remodeled, very comfortable. Very near a beautiful beach with any beach gear you need available at the cottage. The owners were welcoming and non-intrusive but available for any requirements. What a great stay! We will definitely return to the Blue ginger if we come back to Oahu.

I cannot say enough about our stay at the Blue Ginger cottage!! We went because our daughter who lives in Kailua was getting married and we wanted to stay in a place close to her in town. What a pleasant surprise that the photos online did not even do justice to the absolute beauty and serenity of the property.
Susan and Claude were the most gracious hosts and thought of everything to make our stay pleasant. When we arrived at the cottage we were greeted with fresh fruit, coffee, tea cereal and breakfast breads. Every ammenity was provided beach chairs, beach toys and fresh towels every day. She went out of her way to make us feel like we were staying with good friends and that we were not just renters.
All of the wedding guests were from the mainland and most stayed in hotels in the Waikiki area. They came for a small get together at the cotttage and every one of them wished they had booked our place instead of the resort hotel rooms they were in. Several of the family members said they would try to book their next visit to Hawaii at Blue Ginger. We certainly hope that we won't be competing with our family for this rental because I would never want to stay anywhere else.
Kailua beach is a tropical paradise and Kailua town itself is reallly laid back and has all one needs for a really relaxing vacation. The hardest part of the whole experience is that it is so pleasant there at the property aqnd at Kailua beach that it was hard to tear ourselves away for other sightseeing and beach visits.
I hope to get back to Hawaii next year to vist my daughter and her new husband and I hope that I can stay here again!

Susan and Claude thought of everything! The Blue Ginger was fully stocked with many incidentals--not to mention that the cottage is tastefully decorated and has lovely floors and countertops. We had a wonderful time!

Blue Ginger provided the most gracious base possible to anchor our explorations. Our hosts welcomed us warmly and provided every ammenity, up to and including "rescuing" our son who got lost in town! The property is even more beautiful than the pictures!

The cottage was gorgeous as we expected! And was exactly the same as the picture shown. There are some food for breakfast, and dressing, sauce, butter, etc. So we didn't have to spend too much money for the meals. Everyday, we ate at the rnpoolside, or in the living room. It was much nicer than dining out. We had excellent vacation there. We will definitely go back to Blue Ginger. Thank you very much.

Wonderful location, and perfect size for my family of 4. We chose the Blue Ginger because of the price per night and the 2-block walk to Kailua Beach. If we choose Oahu again, I would certainly try to stay at the Blue Ginger. The hostess was very accommodating, and kind. The Aloha spirit!

Our stay at Blue Ginger was everything we expected.......delightful. Our hosts could not have been more friendly or accomodating. The unit was beautifully appointed, and the pool and grounds very special to enjoy. The walk to beach access took only four minutes.......to the Market and Beach park, about fifteen.....to Kailua town, about five......all very convenient. We would definitely come again and feel were visiting old friends. Maholo

The Blue Ginger met all of our requirements for an awesome vacation rental. Our family of 5 (three teenagers) were very comfortable and there were so many extras that we felt spoiled. It was like staying in a beautiful vacation home, not a rental! Everything was so clean, the decor was tasteful , and the location to the beach and town was perfect. It looked just like the photos on the website, in fact , better.
