The feature of this new home is the 500 sq. foot covered lanai. The open beam ceiling in the great room and kitchen are enhanced by five glass doors all opening to the spacious lanai surrounded by ginger and coconut trees. Entertaining or just relaxing on the lanai is wonderful rain or shine.

We are former residents of Oahu's leeward side but prefer to stay in Kailua whenever we visit. Kailua Beach House and Tradewinds Cottage was perfect for us! We loved having our morning coffee on the front porch! The cottage was great for our grandsons (age 19 & 25) as it gave them privacy from us old folks. Customer service was great. Even though we had no problems, the agent made it clear that she was available if we needed her. We look forward to recommending this property to our friends!

The unit was as advertised, Clean and well appointed. The only downside was the busy street but we were all grown enough to avoid cars when crossing the street. If I am ever on Oahu again I would definitely try to stay at the same property. Also, electric beach is a well hidden snorkel place that was the best.
