Nestled in the foothills of the Koolau mountains, this 4 bedroom home is the perfect family retreat. Recently renovated, the home includes designer fixtures, a whirlpool soaking tub, large, modern kitchen and elegant, comfy furnishings. The terraced back yard and lanai set the stage for backyard entertaining and family gatherings. Views of the majestic Koolau mountains can be seen from many windows. Located in an established neighborhood, the home is conveniently located, close to Kailua's business district, 5 minute drive to the beach, and with quick access to the main highways to Honolulu. This home requires a 30 day minimum stay.

Inquire for nightly rate. 30% down to hold a reservation. Balance due 60 days before check-in $2,000.00 security deposit. 4% processing fee. Holiday and peak season rates and required length of stay may be different than quoted above. Credit cards, cash, checks and wire transfers accepted. Minimum night stay varies amongst the various rental units. Many rentals have 30-night minimums.

The Peacock house was spacious and had enough bedrooms for everyone to have their own space when needed. The Two Wahines on the Beach were very responsive to our calls if we needed them. The best part of staying at the house was the daily visits from the Peacocks. We've told all our friends about them. The house is in a very, very quiet neighborhood, free from any traffic noises. However, there are lots of bird noises, peacocks honking and pidgeons and doves cooing, which we find very relaxing. The best part of our trip was visiting with family and friends. The best shopping can be found at the Aloha Swap meet on Wednesdays, Saturday and Sunday. Good restaurants in the area are L&L plate lunch places, and Big City Diner. We also like Rainbow Drive Inn and Kakaako Kitchen.

We would have liked to have had a couple of beach chairs. We used the molded plastic ones, which were a little cumberson to handle, but it was just a minor inconvenience. ("Managers Note: beach chairs and boogie boards will be provided beginning Summer 2008.")

We loved staying at the Peacock house and hope it's available for our next trip to Hawaii. Thanks again for everything.

Our family of five really enjoyed our stay at Peacock. The name was certainly appropriate as we were treated to the sites of peacocks strolling through the backyard almost daily. The home was nice and clean and set in a very residential, quiet location not far from the beach and local shopping. There was ample room for everyone. We enjoyed breakfast at Moki's in Kailua. One of the downsides to our rental was the absence of things such as beach mats, boogie boards, etc. It would have been nice to see things for use such as coolers, snorkle gear, etc. Unfortunately we had the bad luck to be in Oahu during a rather cloudy, rainy period but we still enjoyed ourselves immensely. The service we received from Hawaiian Beach Rentals was wonderful and we would not hesitate to use them again.
